Headlining the performers in the event is rock stalwarts Pearl Jam. The American rock band has been around for some time, and their ability to electrify events is a legend in the business. Joining them is Daft Punk, Ben Harper & the Innocent Criminals, The Roots, Stephen Marley and Amy Winehouse. All the artists are looking to set the festive atmosphere for this big event.
Of course, Sony's bringing its own fireworks. The PlayStation 2, The PlayStation 3 and the PlayStation Portable will all be there to showcase current and upcoming releases for each of the platforms. We can expect a lot of exciting new titles and maybe even a few new accessories from the Sony camp.
The event is slated for August 3 to 5 on Grant Park in Chicago. Ticket and event information is available at Lollapalooza.com.

Pearl Jam is incredible, and their last album is amazing. I only wish this was in LA. :( PJ and Sony... great combo. :D
I don't know who has sold out more the PS3 or Pearl Jam. By sell out, I mean give up what made you popular in the name of money.
I live in Chicago,and WILL NOT be attending this event,even though Pj,Ben,and the Roots top my fav list. 195 $ for a ticket?Lollapalooza and sony can get F()Cked.
