Pac-Man World Rally Ships for PSP

Pac-ManNAMCO BANDAI has announced today that it has started to ship out its highly-anticipated kart racing game, Pac-Man World Rally for the PSP.

The Mario-Kart style game, puts players behind the wheel as they race through a variety of environments with characters (including those from other NAMCO titles) such as Pac-Man, Pac-Man Jr, Mr Driller, Mappy, Toc-Man, Spooky, Erwin, Pac-Devil, Pooka, Fygar and many more. Players can race for the win, or duke it out with Battle Arenas that feature unique weapons, power-ups and a variety of Pac-Man powers.

John Whitmore, Director of Internal/External Development at NAMCO BANDAI added that "Pac-Man World Rally gives fans of all ages the opportunity to enjoy the franchiseÂ’s first-ever kart racer. The gameÂ’s roster of popular classic characters, challenging tracks and finely tuned power sliding mechanics are sure to deliver an unforgettable gameplay experience."

In Japan, theres an arcade game made by Namco, thats called "Mario Kart"- This does also have the pacman + nintendo characters in it in the form of 1 race (4 players)... Perhaps this is the same engine just with pacman characters? ... If it is- WOOOO!

what are you on about. one of the only primary genres the portable unit is GOOD for is racing games... what do you want, more useless puzzle games or some additional *****ty fps ones? some more card games perhaps?
