On Shelves This Week - Image 1

Heroes of Mana box shot - Image 1Some hot titles are hitting the shelves this week, what with much anticipated titles like Heroes of Mana and Luminous Arc finally arriving. EA's explosive Madden NFL '08, which should sell like hotcakes, will also be available on all platforms.

DS owners are getting much love - noteworthy titles include Rune Factory: A Fantasy Harvest Moon that promises to take the favorite farming game deeper into RPG territory. High School Musical: Makin' the Cut also expands the library by adding a sing-and-dance game for all ages.

Billy the Wizard: Rocket Broomstick Racing. Quidditch pales in comparison, as Billy the Wizard: Rocket Broomstick Racing allows players to blast opponents off track with spells, or use magic to take down evil dragons. Much like kart racing, wizards atop their brooms go at it in this racing game. With challenging quests and up to eight characters to choose from, Rocket Broomstick Racing promises some good fun on the Wii.
Dungeons & Dragons: Tactics. Yet another shot at making a video game based on phenomenal tabletop RPG Dungeons & Dragons, D&D: Tactics faithfully implements D&D 3.5 rules as players follow the story of a young child. Taking either good or evil alignment ultimately decides the ending. Co-op allows players to work together, while deathmatch mode pits them against each other.

» Mmmm...

Square Enix back with Nintendo. Wow...good times. I love how they push the limits w/ Sony's products, but they've always had a good running with Nintendo's machines. Sk337

» I Remember Square And Enix Back In The Day

Both very good games on the Nintendo Systems. Now them together is bittersweet. I know with both of their expertise they will make some cool games but competition sometimes made them better. Also it seems like when they were separate there were more variety of good games available. Oh well, high hope to the future.
