On Shelves This Week: April 26 to May 2, 2009 |
Ó
Overall, the April line-up for video game releases were what we could safely describe as abysmal. Not all hope is lost though, as the final week of April 26 brings about an improved stable of games. Kinda.
Well, Wolverine's out to save the day, and I say that ought to count for something, right? And Velvet Assassin's painting the town violet, too. Ready to dive in?
X-Men Origins: Wolverine - The movie may have been leaked weeks in advance, but there's no chance of that happening to the game version, thank god. And so finally Wolverine will be hackin' and slashin' his way to your console of choice this coming weekend with X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Do note that there are two versions of this game, one being the Uncaged Edition, for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC, while the rest are... un-Uncaged. The main difference, methinks would be that the Uncaged ones are rated Teen, while the un-Uncaged are for Everyone 10+.

It's atleast a slightly better week than last weeks offering... but still not too much to excite. Wolverine might be ok? The devs seemed to really put heart into it... I'll wait for the reviews I guess.
Was 1/2 interested in Velvet assassin till it went 360 exclusive, boourns!
Velvet Assassin looks decent, and Wolverine can't be worse than the last X-men related game, but they're still nothing to get excited about and the rest blow.
I'm looking forward to Strikeforce...why bother with Wolverine?
this is good guys, we can save our money now for 2 good games like prototype and the final fantasy advent children blu ray with the demo.
