This is either one of the best things that could happen for a DBZ fan... or something that only nightmares are made out of. Apparently, the live-action Dragon Ball movie will get a PSP game tie-in.[crickets]
Announced via Shonen Jump (see bottom left of scan), Dragonball (The Movie) (The Video Game) - or whatever it's being called - will be hitting stores March of next year. Namco Bandai has picked up publishing rights for the game, and since PSP was the only platform mentioned in the scan, we assume it's exclusive.
Strange though. From the looks of it, it may be just getting a release in Japan (despite the movie coming from Hollywood). Maybe they should keep it that way... Then again, I wouldn't mind getting to play it either, if only for the camp factor. Ooh, hair-gel.

Saw the movie trailer and it looks like "crap", it has like 3 % original DBZ Anime material. They messed up all the characters EVERY SINGLE ONE!!!!!!!!!

And if you think about it, the DBZ plot and characters were really stupid. The action was good. IF anyone makes an actual true-to-the-facts DBZ movie they will be laughed off the planet.

Or what if Namco/Bandai is just calling it DBZ The Movie, but actually recreating the anime in some sortof action/adventure way? I hope this is what they're doing and it's just bad Engrish. Maybe Namco Bandai could have mentioned the movie and that they're making a PSP game in the same sentence or paragraph?
