Official PSP Download Site Opens in Europe |
Ó
Last November, we reported on a PSP website that offers downloadable trailers, wallpapers and new content for games. Now, the official PSP website is out in Europe for tons of downloads that will keep you happy all the time.
So what exactly can you find here? Lets see, they got tons of short films (currently 95 and counting), animation, wallpapers, pictures, animation, celebrity features, fashion stuff (which includes Paris Hilton on the catwalk), music, game trailers, software updates and bonus items. There are also specific categories such as cars and bikes, culture, events and travel for your various interests.
Whew. That was quite a mouthful. The best part of it? They're free! The not-so-good part? We're betting that you have to update your PSP all the time for you to get your hands on these lovely downloads (Remember our previous article on the v2.80 firmware?). An example would be the LocoRoco game demo which is available for PSPs that have system software 2.71 only, or the World Tour Soccer 2 game demo which requires v2.80 firmware.
Paranoia aside, maybe you'd like to check out the site to see what they have in store for PSP users.

Who needs forum points anyway?
So late, where have you guys been? I have been dowloading from yourpsp.com for at least 7 months. Why does Sony Europe understand what the PSP needs but Sony America drags their feet.
Lmao @ 1st poster dood.
re: #1 I see a couple of 1st post dorks , except they don't know they are dorks..
For now everything is free but I bet we will be able to buy playstation1 isos when the emulator will be out ;)
its not news ... its old and the downloads are crap most of the time, and nothing exclusive that you can't get from elsewhere.
every1 world soccer only needs 2.7 so does loco roco its their way of making you upgrade!!!!!!!!!!!!!! don't do it arhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!
Uhm...It's not exactly old news. True, the yourpsp.com site has been offering downloads for quite some time now, but what the author of the article somehow forgot to mention was the fact that now, instead of being able to download stuff from the yourpsp.com site directly, you are being redirected to...a store. And, well, they celebrate it...with offering you all the stuff for FREE! Yes! All the downloads that you could get a week ago for free is now FREE. Just shoot me... In principle I suppose it means that in a couple of weeks if anyone wants to get a Locoroco demo, they will be charged for it. Yay. Way to go, Sony. Anyway, back to Tekken DR :P
