Official God of War: Chains of Olympus Site up with free UMD promo

Well, everybody and their brother probably figured out that God of War: Chains of Olymp-something was going to be called God of War: Chains of Olympus. Not everybody, however, knows that Sony's official site for the game is already up, with a special treat for PlayStation Underground fans.

According to their website, folks can get a free UMD, basically a demo for the game, by signing up for it using their PlayStation Underground account. There's no word on when the demo will be sent to people, but if this is a new adventure for Kratos to star in, then we'd definitely like it to be sooner rather than later.

Wow that was easy! I clicked the "get the umd" button and bam it's like "you've signed up, wait for you umd!" lol awesome.

Also, QJ, you've got a problem with signing in. No matter how much I sign in (i also click the "remember me" box) it always says "you appear as unregistered user now. To change this, you must register or login." then I do... and it still displays it.

I bet you have to upgrade your firmware to play the demo. I wish I lived in the US mainland, cause I've been a member of psu for a couple years and they dont ship to the US Virgin Islands even though we are territory....bummer.

Man this is awesome. I hope since I already signed for the free demo I will 'actually' receive the demo this time not like the Gangs of London Demo which I signed up for on time & Never received anything in the mail.

Like someone else said I can also wait for someone to be kind enough to put the ISO up. I just hope it will arrive in the mail as there's nothing like having the actual solid copy.

I can't wait for this crazy game to come out. Now I have 2 reasons to maintain my psp's modern library. I wish you guys could get more info on Crisis Core as well. And if ever possible GT4 mobile.

And it said I'll get it in the mail..

Probably meaning that they still have a bunch of them to go around.

BTW, this is what I did:

1) Signed up for PlayStation Underground first.... Put in the address and all in the sign up.

2) Went to site, clicked the link. Window popped up, asking to sign in or register with the PlayStation Underground account.

3) I signed in because I just made the account. Tadaa! That's it.

Man, I can't wait for this. First person to get it, please post xD!!!

See everyone, SONY always keeps good things for its public to receive. As we don't encourage homebrew please do not rip UMD's because that will cause us to lose the money to provide all of you with these fine gifts.

It costs money for them to produce the demo, so they lost money on any umd demo they release. They hop that people will like the demo and go out and buy the game so Sony gets money. It's called business.

Why are some of you people so gung-ho with just getting the iso? By not paying for the game all you're doing is cheating the makers of that game out of money. You aren't hurting anyone but the people trying to provide you with entertainment. You people are utterly disgusting. I know this is a demo but still, don't be so ISO hungry.
