The full video invites Obama supporters to take the day off to help with the campaign come November 4th, arguing that history cannot be made while in the office, on the couch or playing Wii (a fact to which my win-loss ratio in Super Smash Bros disagrees) - or the Xbox 360 or the PS3, for that matter.
I agree with Obama: It's probably a good idea to put down the Wiimote on that day. That's Resistance 2's release date.
On a more serious note, though, this isn't the first time the Obama campaign touched on the gaming industry, as he had previously bought digital ad space in Burnout Paradise (PS3, Xbox 360).
In the past, he's also asked that parents “turn off the television, turn off the video games” and take more responsibility with their children.

I think people would be a lot happier if they found some middle ground. Like with abortion. I am anti-abortion. I do not feel a growing life should die for the mistakes of their parents. I have had friends that have been adopted from rough homes and have turned out to be great people. But I do recognise the need for abotion for health reasons. I just feel thast if it was legalized, people would use it to rid themselves of the concequnces of bad choices. The original concept of socialism was worker control over industry. That the idea of democracy would be expanded to industry and commerce. Now one can compare the Great Red Bureaucracy of the Soviet Union and the other Soviet Bloc countries to that ideal. Well, the Soviets used terms like socialism and communism to appeal to the working class. Of course it was pure propaganda, they were dictatorships. But the United States has always been able to say 'hey look, you don't want socialism, see what happened over there.' The Communist countries also used phrases like 'people's democracy of...', like it was some form of superior democracy, of course no one bought that lie, but everyone buys the socialism lie. There are people who believe in the original idea of socialism, frequently they will use terms like 'democratic socialism', or libertarian socialism, or social democracy, etc. Next, the Republicans don't believe in small government, at all. They only cry big government when it helps the poor or working class. The Republicans love big government when it helps the rich. Tax breaks, offshore tax shelters, subsidies, resources, etc. We just gave these guys 700 billion! We don't even have! Now of course big government can be bad. But most of the people that cry 'big government' want less democracy. How do you obtain that? You give everything away to private corporations that have little or no accountability. See, according to the elite, government has a flaw, it is potentially democratic. In theory, the people own the government. The people don't own Rupert Murdoch's News Corp, or Walt Disney, or Microsoft, etc. Now, is socialism 'redistributing the wealth'? Maybe, but our own economy already does redistribute the wealth, upwards towards those that are already rich. Why do people like Obama so much? Because he isn't John McCain. McCain talks a big game, but if you look at his proposals on paper, he is promising Bush Mark III. If you like infinite oil wars, government spying on citizens, taxes on your health insurance, total ecological destruction, outings of CIA agents in retaliation, stealings of elections, a government that works against you, then go ahead and vote for McCain. Wrong again. The 10 minutes I quoted included lines. I've never spent more then 10 minutes voting, no one I know has spent more then 10 minutes voting. I just shouted out to everyone here at work and they as well agree. It's quick and simple. The media reports how quick and simple it is. This wasn't a fight for presidency, it was a fight for minorities.
3. Not all of Obama's votes where for color, to suggest as such would be ludicrous. However, SO MANY votes were for his skin color that the media is having no problem pointing a camera in any general direction, stopping someone with a blue pin and recording such things as:

"Being a black American finally stands for something"
