WTF

Lots of people are going to be screaming "WTF" in the next couple of months, and this time around it wouldn't be as an expletive. Working in the background of the PSP scene, D3Publishers of America (D3PA) is set to revolutionize the mini-games scene with their new title.

Based on a Japanese game, WTF: Work Time Fun is already out in the American market. It contains over 40 mini-games that will simply make you scream/mutter/sigh/curse "WTF". The game is designed to be a "pick-up-and-play" title that you can play either solo or through wireless ad hoc. The game centers on players trying to perform various jobs and earn money from it. The money could then be spent on various items and tools available in the game. There's even going to be a mode called "Outsourcing" where friends could share just one person's UMD and all money earnings of the group will be fed into the account of the person who owns the UMD.

It's going to be a crazy ride of simple, intuitive, and sometimes mind-bending games. Some of which are:
  • Drunken Mayor
  • Private Number
  • Cliff Race 2000
The titles of those mini-games are obscure, but isn't that the point of it all? WTF, right?

Buy: [WTF: Work Time Fun]

i got the game, but it's weird as mess... its like warioware, but the games are much longer, and you earn money, which is quite an incentive. but there isnt as many games, which is disappointing.

This game is like a train wreck.

It's horrible, and makes you sick to your stomach, yet you can't seem to look away.

And it is not like warioware, warioware is like this. Btw, there are a lot of games. There are more than four, you just have to earn money then try to get them at the vending machines.

Warioware is so much more fun! At least in warioware you can unlock games that are worth earning! This game just blows! This game gets my vote for worst game this millenium!

Yeah, I played this game last year when it came out in Japan. It's a terrible game. It tries so hard to be like WarioWare but it's so booooooring. WarioWare is one of the best franchises is recent years. Work Time Fun is as boring as mind-numbing jobs, I mean, putting caps on pens? It's just too boring and you're really not accomplishing anything. Terrible, just terrible.

# I hate this kind of Wario Ware style crap.Guest 2006-10-17 19:16
I really, really do but I am sure that Wario Ware is not the first game of it's kind. I read on a couple of occasions that this WTF crap (not the WTF for PSP) came out before the WarioWare games.
