"Dude, this badass freak needs a mentos."

Shining a beam of light on the release of ObsCure II for the PSP, Playlogic Entertainment has revealed to the the press a smaller release window than a Q2 2009 time frame. The game is now scheduled for September of this year for North America.

What I'd fondly call a survival horror set in a collegiate Bullworth Academy type of setting, ObsCure II: The Aftermath for the PSP is a direct port of the ObsCure sequel spawned on the PS2, Wii, and PC. The handheld version will still retain everything in the game, complete with the 2-player co-op feature which made the original that much more unique in the genre of survival horrors.

New stuff? You get to manage your own playlists of the BGM in the game - which, i might say, include some rather cool tracks. There's going to be new cutscenes and a gallery of unlockable content as well.

I still haven't finished the version on the PS2 (excuse #8: too many games, so little time). Here's another chance presenting itself to me. You better jump on it to, if you know what's good for you.
