The latest issue of Japanese game mag Famitsu has revealed a new PSP title from Nippon Ichi: a musical game called Princess Antiphona's Hymn: Angel's Score Op.A.

According to a translation from Siliconera, the game will feature musical events and puppets similar to the PSOne title Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure (released in Japan as The Puppet Princess of Marl Kingdom). In the game's world, music is power, and since it's a musical RPG there will presumably be musical numbers, complete with vocals.

Princess Antiphona's Hymn: Angel's Score Op.A is Japan-only for now and features full voice acting along with music from Rhapsody composer Tenpei Sato. It's currently scheduled for an October release.

Looks interesting. Good to see Nippon Ichi developing other games besides disgaea.
