Nintendo sales drop in Japan, PS3 grows thanks to Bladestorm |

The weekly rankings in Media Create are in. For the first time ever (in this year, at least), Nintendo's best-selling handheld turned out a total number of sales that didn't reach past the 100,000 mark. Despite this, the Nintendo DS still remains king of the hill with 94,339 units sold for the week ending September 2.
The Nintendo Wii follows its handheld brother with 39,371 units sold, while the PSP sits with figures of 22,196 units sold at third place. It's the PS3, however, that showed some considerable spike up in the Japanese sales charts with 18,068 units sold.
This sudden rush of PS3 sales could be attributed to Koei's Bladestorm: The Hundred Years' War, which debuted in the software charts this week straight up at the top two spot. Meanwhile, Microsoft's Xbox 360 is trailing after the pack from sixth place with 1,635 consoles sold.

I own 1 DS, but 3 PSP, so yeah, I love my PSP, but I'm no fool and am not gonna trick myself into thinking what isn't true, and that falsehood that you people keep believing is that the PSP will ever outsell the DS.
The japanese and Western gamers are soooo different in many ways and i'm not just talking about the size of peenis.
Japanese have some gayish taste. They prefer these whuss type of games over HALO, GTA + GOD OF WAR typse. No wonder the wii and ds performs unbelievably well in japan. They need to stop acting gay by getting rid of there clothing and hair fashion, they really suck. That in part explains why they have a small diick.

I like both Western and Japanese base games, I sometimes per-fer Japanese based games because of highly talented artists. But Oblivion being a Western game looked Awesome as well. The only genre of western games that im getting sick of is; countless Shooters (FPS and TPS). TimeShift, Halo 3, Unreal Tournament 3, Haze, Fracture, Turok, Legends, GTA4, Stranglehold, etc. Those are some of the coming up titles. There are so many, the ones that I know that I will be getting that are shooter related is GTA4, UT3, Maybe Haze, and Turok. I more of an adventure/RPG enthusiest. But I do branch out to other genres, just to not stick with one.
I hate FPS as well..
but there are still FPS I like, and are actually the best games I've played.. games like Duke Nukem 3D, Metroid Prime, Timesplitters.. and uh.. Doom.
but they are still pretty much different to THE random FPS everyone play.. Halo is so random..

Stoping being an idiot God of war and GTA does extremely well as a matter of fact Japanese loves GTA games. They just don't like xbox cause its an American and inferior design system. And why should they like it They make great systems that sell over 24 million sales per generation MS hasn't scratched that surface and never will.
