Nice stranger gives PSP robbery victim new stuff |

Here's a happy bit of news for you, and just in time for Christmas, too! Casey Winners, a boy from Florida who was robbed of a newly-bought PSP system in November, got himself an early Christmas gift in the form of a replacement PSP. An unnamed stranger took action after hearing about it from the news, and the stranger from Kansas worked with the media outlets and sent Casey a brand new Sony handheld, a new game, and a game jacket, valued at US$ 250.
According to the report, the stranger "wanted to reward the 13-year-old for getting straight A's in school." He was also impressed that Casey seemed to place his grandma above the PSP, a trait the robber probably didn't seem to have at the time of the snatching.
Still, the robber is yet to be found, but at least the victims in this little fiasco just happened to be the Winners. Grats to Casey on the good grades, too!

Good to see a good act go rewarded. Still, it scares me to see where this happened. I happen to do all my game shopping at the Gamestop at Largo Mall. Last place I would suspect something like that to happen. Worst thing I thought ever happened was their trade-in rates lol.

i live in Brooklyn, but i work in Manhattan.
So i take the train like everyday.
Like a year ago i was play Smackdown vs raw 2006 on my psp while on was on the train, heading home,(it was around 9 at night) when all of a sudden 3 dude jack my ***** from me.
Luckily I was wasent hurt at all. A PSP to me is not worth a broken nose or anything like that, so i didnt put up a fight.
I was Pissed, But in july i got me another PSP!

Just FYI, that's no man. That's a kid. It's a pretty common thing. Mom didn't pick him up enough when he was little, dad never played catch with him, whatever. You get the idea. See them all over the internet, posting something that will get some attention.
On the upside, there is no legitimate racism here. Just an ignorant child, starving for attention. Dad was too busy drinking, and mom too busy with the milk man, never nurtured him, and never taught him that talking like that makes you sound like a complete imbecile.

Or replacing the smashed window that's covered with duct tape. Hell, if your sentiments here are indicative or your mental aptitude, I think I might come take your car stereo again, and your PSP.
I'll also be more than happy to help you out with a small reality check. One day, when you grow up and realize the world does not revolve around you, you will come to realize that news reports will not always cater to what you might consider to be important. In fact, they never will, and never have. In this case, especially during the holidays, this particular story is more than appropriate. Don't come complaining to the staff here because you can't come to grips with this.
It wouldn't take much consideration on your end to figure out why nobody cares to replace your stolen goods. I puzzled it out pretty quick.
