I love the PSP and the PS3 is okay, but seriously, don't charge force consumers to pay for your advertisements. Advertisements are meant to make consumers buy products, so common sense would to make the advertisements "free."

I sometimes wish there was an edit button on here.

i dont buy any and i havent even downloaded the free Qore this month.
how about devoting em resources to porting free MMORPGs with rare / great in game items for a price so they can earn decent money.
free MMO (mostly rpg's) are the norms worldwide, hint hint rose ragnarok etc.

Ads? A few more ads? Demos that are either already free on PSN or if not, not worth downloading anyway or it would be?
I downloaded the 1.4GB free December edition of Qore tonight and deleted it roughly 90 seconds after checking it out. People pay for these?? Seriously?? I was almost tempted to phone Sony and tell them I wanted the bandwidth back despite having an unlimited connection.
All jerkiness aside, could someone who might actually subscribe to this tell me what the appeal/benefit/value it has over simply reading one of the other 12 billion gaming sites on the innernets? And how will Pulse be even slightly different from Qore?
I'm not a mathematical person, but let's try some fun stuff.
Every other week = 26 weeks
26 weeks x $4 = $104 a year for ads.... errr... "Pulse"
How does that even make sense?? PSN is free, and even the ripoff Qore only comes out once a month for $24 a year. But this bi-weekly show-about-nothing will cost roughly the price of two full games a year??
This is info that comes out much sooner and in much more detail on this very website for free!
Of course I understand all this is voluntary and no one needs to buy anything, but I'm more confused about the motives of the ones who actually do.

A real example of being *forced* to look at advertisements is paying for XBL (which is actually a service someone would want), and then finding the marketplace covered with ads.
I'd be thankful Sony isn't doing the same to the PS-Store, considering it is a *free* service.
