New Star Wars game to be announced at the Spike VGAs

GTTV's Geoff Keighley has revealed via Twitter that Tron Legacy won't be the only game premiering at this year's Spike Video Game Awards. Apparently a new Star Wars game will be announced during the event as well.

No title nor platforms yet, but we do have a teaser video made of scenes culled from previous Star Wars games. The Spike VGAs will take place on December 12. Mark that date on your calendars, Star Wars fans.

Wish they would do a X-Wing vs Tie type of game, or a new simulation game, but they probably won't. I remember when LucasArts mostly did simulation games. Good ol' days. If I were to guess I would say new game would be a new Jedi Knight game, or a Battlefront, but Battlefront has been on limbo for a while now.

I wouldn't mind a sequel to The Force Unleashed. Then again, it's the only Star Wars game that I played all the way through. It's not that I didn't want to play others, but KotoR wasn't the Godly game that it's made out to be, and Jedi Knight 2 got on my nerves, I just wanted to use the lightsaber already! :(

its called Starwars The Old Republic. Its following after knights of the old republic for X-BOX and its for computer visit www.swtor.com for more info on the game i wana play it so bad it looks so fun its gonna be like world of warcraft but starwars edition kinda. its commin out next year and ive been following this game for a longggg time wen it comes out i wud gladly put donw my PSP to play it XD lol.

if you've been following it for a longggg time. then its obviously not secret and the spike VGA awards would be pointless to announce at. anyway. KotOR was AWESOME. i would love to see another one of them.
