Heads up hunters! Capcom has released a brand new downloadable quest for Monster Hunter Freedom Unite that will surely test your skills and abilities. Challenge Quest08 will pit G-Rank  hunters against three tough monsters in the Moat Arena. But wait, before you head out to the quest, be sure to download the latest bonus goodies of the game. It will come in handy, nya!

Developer's note:

Before you get that quest, be sure to download the newest bonus items. Among all the bonus goodies, one is extremely useful. Namely that the old merchant lady (aka Granny) outside of the Gathering Hall now sells Raw Meat and Flash Bugs! Now it's much easier to do what I do, and throw Flash Bombs like it's going outa style.

Slay all of the Large Monsters - "I'm hosting an arena of my own where I'll happily hand out prizes from my stash of treasures to anyone with outstanding times. You can even participate with your pals. Don't keep me waiting!"
  • Monsters: Terra S.Ceanataur, Red Khezu, Black Diablos
  • Area: Moat Arena (Day)
  • Hunter Rank: G Class (HR 7 Or Above Only)
  • Reward: 27,000z

This is how DLC should be: FREE.

Not ******* rip off users with DLC that totals more than the original game.

EDIT: Sorry, I meant to say ADC (already on the disc content).

if you put "OK" infront of "youtube" in a youtube link or address bar you can download the .flv (flash video) right then and there

You wanted it to be already on the disc right? Well unless you a) wanted to wait a extra year b) pay more money then I suggest go into the real world of gaming and try to make a game.

They are able to make dlc available because they now have the time and most importantly money from selling the games.

Lastly unless things have changed the DLC have always been free for monster hunter.

@xstarcafex

what i think he ment was that you pay for dlc that costs total more than that of the actual game you bought

And I also think he meant the stupidest invention of all, the infamous already-on-the-damn-disc content (Street Fighter IV, anyone?). Seriously, if that isn't ripping off then what is?

» WTF

So you're saying, Taigon, that for the Street Fighter IV game, that all the "dlc" is already on teh disk, and you paid for the disc, then you have to pay money to unlock the rest of the disk????

WTF!!! lawsuit should be in order, you paid for that disc, you paid for everything that is on that disk,

isn't that against the law???? but hey, who's gonna prove that it's already on teh disc (while in court) with out ripping it onto your computer and accessing the stuff, then they'd accuse you of copyright infringement for making a back-up...

Yeah, they have extra outfits available for the characters that are on the disc but can't be accessed unless you buy them on Xbox Live Marketplace (I dunno about PSN but I think it's the same). And I don't think that's against the law or there would've been a lawsuit already considering the amount of Street Fighter fans.
