And so another title is revealed in the Famitsu magazine. This time, it's Marvelous Entertainment's Harvest Moon port for the PSP, carrying a new subtitle of Sugar Village and Everyone's Wish (Bokujou Monogatari: Sugar Mura to Minna no Negai in Japanese).

In this iteration, you will be playing as a young farmboy working under directives from a goddess to save Sugar Village, which was to be turned into a resort in two years' time. To succeed in averting such disaster, 16 different story paths are laid out before you to choose from.

Good ol' Harvest Moon farming features are retained for this title, from farming to animal raising, as well as home construction and socialization. And the fun doesn't have to stop when the game ends; you can still primp your farm as much as you want.

For additional RnR, the game's got several minigames as well, like horse racing, tree chopping, digging and fishing games. It's a whole lot of activities to choose from, so for sure you won't find and idle time in the farm.

You can check out the Famitsu scans above in the meantime. Harvest Moon: Sugar Village and Everyone's Wish won't be coming out till the 19th of March in 2009.

I don't know why... but some how I fell in love with this game on the gba years back. Harvest Moon games are really good *cough* the rip off ps1 psp port was gay *cough* But the remake for the gba was even better.

I hope this game is comes with plenty of tools to upgrade.

Kind of yay actually, the last two Harvest Moon's for the PSP have been somewhat of a disappointment to me, they just lacked the elements of the others. Harvest Moon 64 was my all time favorite, it brings a lot of nostalgia. I'm hoping that this one will be better than the past two for the PSP, I would love to have a portable Harvest Moon game for the PSP that I actually liked. It'll be like when I had Friends of Mineral town when I was in elementary school.

What's the main goal in these games? I remember seeing a review of one of the games years back in playstation mag or something, and the game looked pretty good. I've always wanted to try one though..

I started with the first game of the series, Harvest Moon for SNES. What a great game!

I liked the PS1 clone for the psp.

Unfortunately, there've been many bad HM games recently. Let's hope this one gets better.

very tiny picture.

i just hope they innovate more, dating courting and marrying and having offsprings are not fun kids stuff you, think animal crossing! nice for the animal but boring for kids.

just simplify the dating mechanics.

From what i can see of the picture, it looks very much like save the homeland..also the description if i recall is exactly how save the homelands was which makes me think maybe this is a port of STH..and if that's the case then there won't be any dating, marrying, or having children at all.
