New games announced in Capcom Gamer's Day event |
Ó
It's Capcom Gamer's Day today in London, and there's already a handful of announcements made that would surely make a lot of gamers happy. For instance, there's a new Street Fighter game being developed, and this time it's the fourth installment of the core Street Fighter franchise. Capcom was only able to present an animated concept trailer for Street Fighter 4, without any video clips of actual gameplay, though.Lost Planet for the Xbox 360 and PC will finally make its way to Sony's PS3. The best part? All the bonus content from both the PC and Xbox 360 versions of Lost Planet will be included in the PS3 Blu-ray disc. A 16-player multiplayer mode will be thrown in as well, through PlayStation Network.
Capcom also announced a new game franchise, Dark Void (thus clearing up some of the rumors about Capcom's filed patent). It will be a sci-fi action game in third-person POV, and will feature air-vehicle gameplay as well as sky diving. Nothing else is announced about this new title, so we'll have to stay tuned for more.
More updates to come!

My PC couldn't even run the demo! :@ Still, I tryed the demo on my "past" :( xbox 360 and it's wasn't really good so it's not like I'll play it more on the ps3. But at least, I'll have a new demo to try lol. And for the people who wanted this game, it's great to have all the multiplayer up to 16
Great news for the StreetFighters fans and for the PS3 owners who don't have a xbox360 and are dieing to play LostPlanet
Makes the 'Only on Xbox 360' look a bit stupid on Lost Planet's boxart though.
this is good news for ps3 owners. maybe dead rising will be next.
Very Nice
Lost planet wasn't even that good, I wish it WAS Dead Rising. That's one of the few games I enjoyed when I had the console.
seemed to be much better then multi-player....but even the multi-player has it's charms....
It's just not one of those die-hard games you can put 200+ hours into online...
If Lost Planet is going to PS3 there is no reason Dead Rising would not. It's probably a matter of man-power and only being able to "convert" one game at a time.
They know they will reach new people and already have 90% of the work done....so why not ?
This is also why ANY 3rd party publisher will eventually put their games on both systems...
