Killzone - Image 1If you think you already know everything there is to know about Guerrilla Games' Killzone: Liberation, think again. There are some features of the game that are being announced just now and it is something fans have been asking for.

A new multiplayer functionality has just been added to the game. This new feature takes full advantage of the wireless capabilities of our beloved PSP units in two different ways. First, there's a two-player co-op gameplay in the single player mission. And then, one to six players can slug it out over the six multiplayer maps.

You all know about the third person camera. Although some have strong feelings about the shift from FPS to third person, but just think of it as this way: the new camera system gives you the best overview to capture all the intense action. It allows you to make tactical decisions before actually engaging in a firefight.

To those who haven't heard, the Gameshare Mode lets players share demo levels of Liberation with other PSP owners. Lastly, Guerrilla Games and SCE mentioned that they are currently beta testing the Infrastructure Mode to possibly add Deathmatch multiplayer.

Sounds good to us. How about to you? We can't wait to see the new features.

?

what is meant by for example this? "A new multiplayer functionality has just been added to the game." will the new features be downloadable through the 'download'-menu? if yes, why does my game always say that the page could not be found when i click on 'download' in the menu of killzone? btw i have the european version if that matters. and another question: will there be multiplayer-games over the internet (infrastructure)??

They are either stupid or confused

"A new multiplayer functionality has just been added to the game. This new feature takes full advantage of the wireless capabilities of our beloved PSP units in two different ways. First, there's a two-player co-op gameplay in the single player mission. And then, one to six players can slug it out over the six multiplayer maps." They say nothing about it being infrastructure, unless if they mean Infrastructure by "full." "To those who haven't heard, the Gameshare Mode lets players share demo levels of Liberation with other PSP owners. Lastly, Guerilla Games and SCE mentioned that they are currently beta testing the Infrastructure Mode to possibly add Deathmatch multiplayer." They say they are beta testing Infrastructure to possibly add the "one to six players can slug it out over the six multiplayer maps" is already in Ad Hoc and they would just be repeating themselves twice. But QJ is so stupid they don't even know that Harvest Moon is coming out on the PSP, even though a bunch of people have commented saying it is and have e-mailed them saying it is.

"Damn black people"? I just think that you should have phrased it like "black people are still selling the damn records". I may not be black, but i know what an insult is when i see one. What does Eminem got to do with anything anyway?? You must be completely illiterate.
by - 2007-02-01 05:58:33

SORT IT OUT

Whoever posted this news needs to make a second post for clarification. Even if the stuff is true it is written in a confusing way. I bet even those of you who understood had to re-read it at least once to be sure, I know I did! I hope they do eventually sort the infrastructure mode out, the main reason I bought this game was because someone told me it had online multiplayer, and I stupidly bought it without checking first.
by - 2007-02-01 09:31:04
Whaat?!

Does this mean that there will be a network multipaying access? That would be nice. Can't wait.
by - 2007-02-01 11:11:49
??????????

no it's not u weirdo, ad hoc is already built in but not infrastructure. get ur dam facts right.
by - 2007-02-02 02:02:54
yeah dumb sh**

they are talking about the infrastructure modes not the stuff it already has, with the exception of the last part where they mention the gameshare mode
by - 2007-02-02 02:04:38
haha

The website is not finished yet so of course it wont let you! The american version is the same as ours and there extra multiplayer mode is really Capture the Flag. They for some reason just copied what is already in it!
