NBA 2007 is set to be a hot title when its release comes for both the PS3 and PSP. Officially licenced by the NBA, the next one in the series will set to include hot new game modes, mini games and a new layout. Two of the main modes include Conquest, whereby it is the players option to take a team and challenge any NBA squad from the whole country, and Pick Up mode where the user can choose the team players and go head to head in a playground style match. The many mini-modes include small games such as skee-ball, pinball and pop-a-shot. Some more notable mini games include Dodgeball, HORSE, rhythm dunk contest, ladder challenge and finally card trading modes.
Conquest Mode - This is based on a territory acquisition and management system, where by challenging local teams results in regional dominance, yet strategy, basketball knowledge and gameplay skills are all important for this to work successfully. Accepting challenges from other teams, the player can also collect and use a host of famous basketball players.
Pick Up - Playing either against the CPU or a fellow friend, players choose alternately between 10 randomly selected NBA players in and effort to win in an outdoor full court game.
Rhythm Dunk - Players can take on some famous faces in a mini game based on rhythm based dunking, in time to the music of course.
Carnival Games - By playing a host of smaller games, including Pop a Shot and Pinball, players earn point credits to spend on unlocked material including images, videos and throwback jerseys.
Gameplay - Enhanced commentary from Ian Eagle and color commentary from top NBA broadcast talent.
Highlight Reel - New playback and replay modes whereby a player can recall exact scenes such as passes, dunks and other moves from a whole completed game.
Quality - Using motion capture and lifelike movements, with realistic interactions at a frame rate of 60 fps, the game will indeed be high quality.
Licensing - Official NBA involvement means the 41 true NBA teams are used as well as throwback teams.
Ladder - Complete a whole array of mini-games o exhibitions to earn top trading cards while working to the top.
Season Mode - This will include details such as simulation, trades, and agent lists.
Wireless - Either play head to head with friends or take on the might of national players using wireless multiplayer connectivity in Ad Hoc or Infrastructure modes.

I hope they improve it this year, cause last year's nba titles were far from great.
I don't know why 2k Sports isn't doing a basketball game 4 the psp. Because NBA 06 sucked sooo much.
