For those of you eagerly awaiting more details regarding Namco Bandai's PSP interpretation of the immensely popular Suzumiya Haruhi franchise, then wait no longer: the official Suzumiya Haruhi no Yakusoku (The Promise of Haruhi Suzumiya) website has received major updates courtesy of Namco Bandai.

It's interesting to note that the Kyoto Animation team behind the Suzumiya Haruhi anime will be supervising Suzumiya Haruhi no Yakusoku. Additionally, Namco Bandai's S.O.S. (Seamless Operation System, not Spreading Excitement All Over the World with the Haruhi Suzumiya Brigade) to make the game's characters come to life in 3D-almost as if players were viewing the animé itself.

The story of Suzumiya Haruhi no Yakusoku  progresses like a visual novel, and has players talking to  Suzumiya Haruhi cast  (voiced by the original Japanese voice talents of the animé). Namco Bandai has also thrown in new, original sub-stories, multiple endings, and mini-games.
