More Pink PSP Pictures

Now, a lot of you guys reacted to the earlier article about how only real men play with pink PSPs. In fact, your comments even carried over to discussing homosexuality and how pink stuff (including handheld consoles) are meant for women. Whatever. Bottom line is, you guys are entitled to your own opinions.

However, for those who are actually interested in getting one for themselves OR for their girlfriends, we bring you more pictures of the pink PSP, which is said to be scheduled for release in Europe by the 27th of October.

A lot of people are saying that the shade of pink is hideous, and that it makes the PSP look plastic and cheap. Personally, I think the pink PSP would've looked a lot better if the buttons were black. It seems that there's just too much pink phenomenon going on in the console and black buttons would've made it easier on the eyes. But that's just me. What do you guys think?

I personally dont have a problem with a pink PSP (I mean i wouldnt buy one...but whatever) I think that the shade of pink is what makes it so horrible.....the shade of pink is ugly and makes the system look plasticy......i dont like the suggestion that was made about black buttons, that would look even worse.....it should be a better, more shiny shade of pink and have white indicators

Wow, is that the new psp case? I like the cool handles that would prevent you from dropping your psp. Also this would allow you to roll your psp down a hill if needed. Thanks Sony!

Even the Ducky went pink. It's cool that they made a Pink PSP. I don't know how a Pink PSP could atract females if they don't even know what it does. Maybe this is something girl gamers needed. It would be sad if you lost to someone with a Pink PSP. Maybe I'll get one so I can beat people with my Pink PSP. Too bad it's only in Europe (and they complain that Sony doesn't care about them; e.g. Pink and White PSP)

I'm not some kind of thick skulled moron who thinks colors determine a person's personality and sexuality, but I have to say this shade of pink is pretty fashion backwards: it looks like the color of chewed and hardened bubblegum. Nintendo's been doing pretty well with their (non american) special edition Gameboys and DS' colors, including their pink but... yuck.

Dunno about the whole pink thing , but a different color of buttons would definately make it not so cheesy lookin'. But I think , in this instance, that silver buttons would be a better choice instead of black. As for me, I guess I would prefer green metallic with the silver middle running around the PSP and silver buttons, but that's just me :P.

And the pink PSP makes me want to vomit.

The color hurts me on a extremely deep level. If I EVER saw ANYBODY with this thing, I would assume they are colorblind. If not, I'd throw a nice heavy, jagged rock at their face.

Isn't anyone as offended by this UGLY piece of garbage?? I can't believe anybody at Sony gave this thing a green light. They must have been on LSD at the time. It really, really offends me as someone with vision.

Oh... and I wear pink. And I make it look good. Nothing can make this thing look good, I'm sorry. Satan himself made this hidious device.

A. That's a really horrible tone of pink. The DS "Noble Pink" is very eye-pleasing. This looks hideous and cheap.

B. As has also been stated multiple times, gray for the accents is an even worse design decision than that pink. White, would have been preferable, but even black could have lent it a sexier mystique than raincloud gray.

C. America needs white PSPs.

Don't know what the hell Sony was thinking when they came up with this. Seriously. It's bad enough that all that seems to be required in order to make something designed for females these days is to make it pink, let alone what that thing looks like.

To all the gamer ladies reading this, tell me: you're walking through a store, and see a pink PSP. Are you going to want to buy it simply because of it's color? Hell no.

As for what it looks like, "nasty" sums it up quite nicely. I'm sorry, but light grey on pink for the whole thing doesn't strike me as attractive. Hell, even if they made the buttons white or something, and used a readable shade of pink for the text, it'd look alot better than it does now. Heck, it might even be more popular because it's more colorful than the black PSP.

Colors are key here. If they (Sony) took the time necessary to collect information on what color schemes people think would look the best for a PSP, they might've had a decently selling product here, rather than a rehash of what they've already done.

Come on. I'm a girl, and there's no way in the nine hells that I would EVER consider buying a pink PSP. I can't say I even know many girls (especially the ones who play games) that like pink.
