Atari logo - Image 1Last March, we reported on the flash game N being ported to the handhelds - DS and PSP. Now we've got some new info about the cult hit now called N+.

Atari and SilverBirch are set to join forces in this platformer-slash-action-slash-puzzle game, adding to it some cool features like a level editor, downloadable content, and multiplayer. Stephen Baer, senior global product manager at Atari had this to say:

N+ takes all the great elements of the flash game, from the amazing acrobatics to the simple-but-fast gameplay, and adds an impressive set of new features. With full support for wireless multiplayer, cartridge sharing ability, downloadable content and community leader boards, gamers will be able to settle, once and for all, who is the greatest ninja.

New game modes were also added like the co-op and competitive multiplayer. Players can also customize their levels - using the stylus and the touchscreen on the DS - and share them with friends over ad-hoc (PlayStation Portable) and WiFi (DS). Plus the downloadable content is a sure-fire way to keep players coming back for more.

We'll keep you posted on more info about N+, we're sure you're the all curious as to how the level editor will work with the PSP. News as they happen, so stay tuned.

I've been waiting for this for a long time. I can't count the number of times ive brought my laptop into a lecture and played this game while having that lecturer talking about hardware.

As long as they keep the game the same, it should be awesome!

I wonder if there will be support for infastructure mode for the PSP. That would make this game even more enjoyable.
