More images, comparison pics of the redesigned PSP

The lucky folks over at gadget website T3 have gotten their hands on a pre-production model of the recently-announced Sony PlayStation Portable redesign. They've also taken pictures of the redesigned PSP as well as a few comparison pics with the original PSP.

According to T3, the redesigned PSP - referred to in some quarters as the PSPSlim, PSP Lite or PSP Slim & Lite - is 5 mm thinner and 3 mm shorter than the original. It's also lighter thanks to a brand new UMD mechanism.

Viewed from the front, it still looks pretty much the same and still has a 4.3-inch screen. The infrared port is now gone, and the Wi-Fi switch is now on top of the unit. Check out the images below for a closer look at the new PSP.

From one of the picture... i can obviously see that the battery is rated at 3.6V 1200 mAh? as compared to the original 1800 mAh? wouldn't this make the drain out pretty fast?

are you kidding me? That thing is *****n identical to the old psp. Its marginally shorter, marginally thinner, and probably marginally harder to hold onto. I can't believe I'm the only person to even comment on this. Isnt anyone else angry? All that hype and they finally give us this. I wonder what moron at Sony got an extra $50Grand added onto his salary to come up with this "redesign"...

Dude, whats the Point about IR?! can you tell me one app that really used it? Which was REALLY capble for this? The answer is quite clear. NONE!

Even Homebrew was very slow and... Dumb.

Whats the point in this? Youve got Wi-Fi.

I agree with Simmy:

My Original one that i've bought on september 1th 2005 (im from Germany) has 1800mAh.

But hey, i think Sony knows what they're doing.

personally I think the UMD Bay / drive looks very bad. I think it might get broke or something like that.

But the TV Output is just amazing. Im going to buy the ice silver package (Daxter is great, Family Guy awesome and the 1GB Stick. Well ^^) but I will still keep my old one for HB and... Forget it :D

Im buying games :P

Greetz and thx @ Sony for theire PSP Sl... erm... 1.5

oh, i almost forgot:

Can anyone tell me a retailer that ships to Europe / Germany?

I hope that it gets hacked...then I'll definitely buy one. The main that I like about the new one would be the video output. I hate the new UMD drive. It looks like someone could just rip it off. we'll just have to wait and see what all the specs are. It would be cool if they would've added built in memory, or made support for bigger memory sticks or other memory stick formats.

I'll probably still keep my old psp though. I'll just wait 'til the price drops to get the new one.

# Looks like...Guest 2007-07-12 05:43
... cheap plastic on the 3rd photo, doesn't it? I agree about the UMD drive, looks like it could brake very fast.

Then, on the other hand, I like the new Memory Sick slot. Does not wear out that easy compared to the 1st PSP I guess.

# yea right...Guest 2007-07-12 05:47
Wow im so amazed!! look at that sick fresh design!! [/SARCASM]

Well sony must have run out of ideas, all they did was make its smaller, at least nintendo did a little remodeling... They should of at least gave it a little more to look at then a normal psp, like how would people be able to tell which is which without putting the 2 of the psp models together??

This is pointless, although ill be honest, i might get one just for UMD games and etc... cuz the UMD drive on my PSP is busted (my fault)

# why...Guest 2007-07-12 05:56
well, if sony is smart, they'll load the firmware req'd for each game off the umd, and make the unit non-flashable ... that'd get rid of new functionality, but it'd also get rid of homebrew.

Of course, they're not, so they'll just change the mobo or something, and it'll take 6 months to crack... and they'll be back to fighting the homebrew scene.

Now, with new hardware. would you need a different version of custom firmware on this?

# Is it only me?Guest 2007-07-12 06:23
Is it only me or does this psp look like that fake psp/phone thing that was going around a whiles back. I seriously love my psp (original one) compared to this slim version. The originals look more sexy and just awesome compared to the slim that looks like a toy. for example the back is too polished and shiny. check the back of your original psp, thats the way it should be.

the UMD tray? I like the original more too. It seems it can open easily and will break easily too. doesn't look cool either. check out how the original tray looks, its awesome. what was the point of them putting those two bottom speakers at the top? It removes from the slims sexiness.

The hell with video output, I'll be sticking with my original 3.03 OE-C psp thank you. Probably be buying another psp, but not a psp slim.

# Totally unimpressed.Guest 2007-07-12 06:36
Ok I think we're losing money because of hacked psps and have tried everything to stop it but failed. So we're going to release a new psp that has a new board and a new firmware (which will also get hacked its just a matter of time) so people can't play homebrew. Also, to make them buy our stuff lets make the psp a little slimmer and lighter. That'll make them buy it. People are stupid and we are a corporation!

Idiots. I am seriously disappointed in $ony. First that crap PS3 and now this. NOTHING's changed. Exact same design. No on board memory no flash increase no nothing. And it looks like my uncle's 4 year old son can snap the UMD drive in half after 2 minutes of examining it.

But wait. We're giving you video out! Yeah right. I had that on my mac about 20 billion years ago and seriously do I want to play PORTABLE games on my TV? Not a lot. I play the psp usually when im on a trip and I need to pass time. meh.

Slimmer and Lighter....are you kidding me. Last time I checked KIDS play games and KIDS don't have arthritis. They can freaking lift the psp without any joint pain!

I am never going to touch this worthless piece of *****.

Anyone else notice that they moved the audio and serial port out of that little spot on the far left and more towards the center?

Not sure if that'll be good or bad, but probably worse since now it'll stick out more when something is plugged into it.

# but better? or simply locked?Guest 2007-07-12 07:01
1) sure slimmer but with a smaller battery, is it really an improvement? After all, with 333Mhz being available to new UMDs and the original PSP gobbling up battery like crazy on max brightness, what's the point of a 2-3hr PSP when the DS does 3x longer easily?

2) New + locked?

we won't know until they're out, but it's highly likely that the new PSPs will require some new form of bypass to unlock them fully.

3) any brighter screens?

that would be really nice given that my DS outshines my PSP on max brightness. really sad, IMO.

4) TV out.

They could have simply done a USB thing for everyone and left it at that. there are usb video output boxes for laptops, so no reason the PSP couldn't have gotten one.

5) no improvements to the core.

I'd much rather have seen a version at the same weight with a built-in GPS SIRF3 system and a fat MS/UMD with lots of maps.

Instead maps are still one of those things with lots of add-ons required.

6) Enough time to innovate, no innovation at hand.

They've had more than enough time to innovate - flip down keyboard, MIGO chat/IM apps, GPS inside, etc., but nothing. Very sad vs. DS.

I cant believe people want to buy this piece of ***** over the last one. I am so happy this thing is so *****ty as I just got a new psp. Thanks to the old one having a ***** load of problems I am now sure this unit will come up with a million hardware issues in less than a month of its release with people complaining UMD drive breaking easily and look at it for christs sake it looks like the crimson of the play station species like the guy says in "300" FREAK SHOW. Look how bad the headphones jack is placed its like they have punched a hole into a place where it shouldn't be . Disgusting the old thing may be fatter but it had the curves it needed and IMO I think the curves are great. This one looks like someone sawed off the last psp's buttocks and then placed a cardboard to make them flat. This psp also looks way less shiny than the old one. This UMD drive (the new one) looks like it will fall off by itself while playing after about 5-6 months as the original psp while having a strong latch mechanism couldn't withstand wear and tear im sure this one wont even half last as long as the old one did. And speakers? wtf!!! .. about video output though im sure they didn't change much and they would add a feature in newer firmware that would enable old psps to have a video output too else im damn sure everyone with an old psp like me will be hell pissed off. And if they do home brew team will hack it out and then we can use it too. I love my old psp and I am happy i bought it before these disgusting crippled pieces of ***** came into existence.

# Battery LIfeGuest 2007-07-12 08:49
The whole point of this psp is that the chips inside have been reduced to a 65nm process, cheaper for Sony to make and better for gamers. This makes them marginally smaller ( thus the thinner shape) but its real gain is drastically reduced power consumption. I'm expecting this new psp's battery life to be at least doubled even with the smaller battery. It will also give off less heat, which wasn't really an issue before but its a nice side effect.

If you don't recall, the IR port is for keyboard guybrush. The single most important use for the IR port. At one point SONY was going to give a proper keyboard and then canceled it, others tried to make one and got rejected by SONY and now we've all been rejected by SONY because they did away with the IR. It appears that SONY never did want us to have a keyboard. SONY has Fuucked Up BIG TIME with this redesigned PSP. Only thing they did right was relocating the speakers, headphone jack and offering video out but even thats not enough to call this a redesign. The PSPs ass is missing which will make it a lot harder to hold onto. Did see something about it taking Duo and Pro Duo MS. The older PSP kicks the new ones ass, rolls it up and smokes it!

Maybe by then they can figure out how to have all of the sixaxis' functionality built in to it so that we can use it as a proper PS3 controller. For now, my current PSP's will sufice.

# think about it.Guest 2007-07-12 10:04
If they reduced the size of the processor they should have added more onboard Flash RAM while they were in there working on it.

Should of left the IR port alone and if all the video out is just a plug in the old jack than this can be used with the Ol'PSP's and really makes the redesign worthless cause frankly the only thing that peeked my interest was the fact it had video out and the possibility of upgraded Flash RAM and a 2nd nub.

If they don't update the FLASH RAM, keep the IR, add 2nd nub, give American's the GoCam, they've done nothing at all and is wasting our time and money.

Everybody else gets a CAM but US, then a redesigned PSP comes out and US still doesn't have an NTSC GoCam.

SONY is FuuuuuuuCKing UP So Badly that Nintendo and MS will take over, oh wait, snapp! They still haven't released MS surprise yet, new hand held, this will cripple SONY cause no dout MS won't handy cap the device and will support the HB community. This is kick SONYs weak pathetic redesigned psp to the curb and into the sewer.

Well, now I know I'm not buying a redesigned PSP, I can now save up for the new MS hand held, thanks to SONY for redesigning the PSP so badly, now I won't have to be held back any more by hacking it when MS's hand held will be open source.

SONY's going to fall out if they don't get their stink heads out their asses.

Microsoft's E3 hand held surprise will turn the tables on SONY and leave them looking for which board member is going to fall on their own sword because of the bad decisions made. If you ask me, they should all fall of their swords for this treason they've committed on the consumers.

It is a piece of ***** the hand curves have been removed software added to play on your T.V. so I guess a firmware add would work. What really pisses me off is that they say load times would be faster all they did was add another 32 MB of RAM to the 32 that where already there with a a total of 64 MB OF RAM CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS CRAP MAN. What happened to 8 GB of flash memory. If you really ask me I won't buy this unless mine breaks and the slims are all thats left thats the only way and the only way it should be with this piece of junk. Still a psp don't get me wrong but it could have bben better seeing as they probably just took it off one of pics of the "What If PSP looked like this" sites. Companies such as ebay pay CC to have people try their offers, and when you complete an offer, CC simply passes the money onto you. By spending an average of 3-4 hours a week on cascrate,

I have made 472$ in May, 412$ in June, and 271$ (SO FAR) in July. You get paid in real checks from "KNGSIDE MEDIA" every month that you earn 10 dollars or more. It may seem too good to be true,

but I assure you it IS true. Also, with their referral program, you can refer people by sending them your link (you get when you sign up) and for every buck they earn, you get 20 cents also! (Think how much money you can make if you have 100 people making five bucks a day)

You do not have to enter your credit card or social security number. Nothing Harmful can come from CC. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE 18 OR OLDER, I AM 15 YEARS OLD AND REFERRING PEOPLE, AND I MAKE THIS MUCH MONEY A MONTH

Well, when i saw these picts yesterday i didnt notice much differences. It look almost the same thickness n everything, but seeing the numbers makes me want to buy this more, also the output to TV isnt the port right next to the phone jack in this model? How bout old PSP will they be able to Play on TV? Also does it seem strange that DAX left right before this happen?

1)Man... I get a good 4-6 horus on my PSP. Also, the device show is not the final model, the batter might be swapped, either that or Sony's got the machine consuming less power, cuz there is no way they're going to release a slimer, sexier machine that doesn't last as long as it's bigger predecessor.

2)When you say locked... you mean homebrew wise?

3)The screen is already a thing of beauty. F__k d00d my old Game Gear is like a spot light if you really want to compare handheld screen brightness.

4) Possibly true, but why complain when a company adds something for free?

5)You're one person, with one opinion. Perhaps Sony isn't catering to just you! Perhaps they thought the majority of users would rather a smaller redesign instead of a "GPS SIRF3 system and a fat MS/UMD with lots of maps"

6)It's a redesign dude, you can't go including a bunch of exclusive hardware into the thing, it alienates the older version of the hardware and then you've got a lot of angry users who can't play 'X' game on their old PSP. Also, you compare to the DS... the DSLite has nothing "Innovative" added to it either, f'n brightness upgrade, smaller design etc.

In closing. If you're not happy with the redesign then stick with the older hardware.... if you've even got a PSP.

I may stick with my older PSP for a while yet... but I'm really glad to see some design changes. Like the replacement of the head phone jack!!! I'm always annoyed with the placement of it on the regular PSP, it's always in the way of my left hand.

# This is upsetting...Guest 2007-07-12 18:25
I have one word for this monstrosity.

'Sony'

Is that where the money that were paying them go? designing an identical unit with 1 or 2 new feature.

Seriously, omg! this TOTALLY suckballz!

This isn't a new PSP it's physically identical to the original unit.

OMG, I've seen better mods that carried MANY other excellent features than this disgraceful piece of *****.

Now I REALLY hope MS comes out with a portable system. I'll definately be more than happy switching to that than what Sony has lately been up to.

And I BET ANYBODY by that time, Sony will be BEGGIN' for someone like DAX to pop up and create another legendary legacy so they can have another glimpse of what true gaming experience REALLY is.

I just can't wait until this unit comes out because it will SURELY be a BIG FLOP INTERNATIONALLY !

Microsoft, PLEASE release something worth while because Sony obviously cannot live up to their clients standards.

So let me get this straight.

Sony releases a p-system that was a MAJOR hit until the HB scene got in the story and made their own 'enhancements' because many have realize that the unit was being held back by the people that created them in the first place.

So Sony then cripples the HB scene (which what made the PSP System Internationally renowned today) as a way of revenge due to the piracy crisis.

Then Sony 'secretly' and strongly denied that they were building a new unit aka PSP2/slim that the public have learned they were up to, and at the end the best that they could come up is this PIECE OF *****!

Sony, omg, Sony... You have got to GET A NEW PROJECT LEADERS AND MEMBERS. Sack everybody whose involved in the division while you still have that little dignity you have left and show once again why we (millions) of PSP users have chosen the PSP Unit to be the next big thing.

Just let it grow to whatever the public want it to grow just as you did with PSX and PS2...

EVERY System you have released have eventualy been figured out and been 'cracked' to play backups and hb. But this is why countless of people like myself still chose to follow the name Sony is because of this same pattern.

If PSP is the 1st time in history that you will hold back with all your might and not allow to evolve, then I can assure you that the name Sony PSP (TM) will be a thing of the past and everyone will follow the industries that will allow their creations to flurish to it's FULL potential.

I am so disgusted and ashamed on what this so called 'new' slimmer and better psp you have to show that I am personally ashamed that I have a PSP.

And I can assure ANYBODY that this will be a laughing matter when it does release in the market/public.

Sony, wake up and realize...

# WTF is wrong with some peopleGuest 2007-07-12 20:00
I share the thoughts of some of you, namely

1. Video out is awesome idea

2. UMD door looks kinda flimsy

However, the IR port is about as handy as plug on reading light. No Sony games used it, and it only appeared to be useful for homebrew.

But there are a few things that make me sit here and scratch my head in wonder as to wtf are some of you smoking.

Firmware updates - Since when would Sony lock a console down when their primary selling point is 'future updates to expand the functionality of the system'

Redesign - id say 90% of you unappreciative nobheads spend your time and effort bagging Sony on their 'sh*t' designs rather than showing some appreciation and some support for your beloved consoles slimmer brother. Sure there are a few areas that may not appeal to many people's taste, but how bout thinking of it this way... less materials = less cost. Sure we may not see it instantly, but we will soon. Which will mean more accessability to the console. And dont even compare it to the DS. DS is a kids toy (6-12) PSP is a teenager/adult toy. So arguably, all these flimsy components should be an issue as teens and adults look after things they spend a wad of cash on dont they?

But that goes for anything really, the general concensus of people who read this stuff on this site is no one is happy with anything Sony produce. Sure there are a few areas of concern with PSP Lite, but lets put it into perspective.

UMD Door - Yes it looks flimsy and that it will break, but is that really an issue? Do all of you swing off your UMD door just to test its durability? Are you all that rough with your PSP that the possibility of the UMD door breaking is such a big deal?

Slimness and weight - I remember when PSP first come out, people *****ed and complained that it was too fat and heavy, now its too slim and it 'looks' like the Popstation. FFS. People were happy when Nintendo released DS lite with a slimmer build and added a better screen etc, cant we show the same appreciation???

Personally, good on Sony for taking the effort in perfecting an awesome handheld.

- the umd port looks kind of flimsy to me

- IR is gone so no more universal remote control fun

- the slim design could actually make it harder to hold

- speakers facing out is a great idea

- no dual analog sticks is a major disappointment

- if Sony comes up with new security measures we can't beat, the old PSPs will probably end up being more valuable

#1: they can't add an additional joystick because games are already made for 1 joystick, it's like adding another button to the DS Lite.

The speakers are better there than at the bottom of the psp. the only thing i don't like are the missing curves behind T_T.

#2: People are saying that it will be unhackeable. well you closed mind dudes, that's not confirmed! It's a better idea to wait if it can be hacked.

#3: If you think about it, if the new psp is hackeable, we will be ABLE TO PLAY HOMEBREW on OUR TV! that would KICK ASS! using Internet Browse on our TV!.

I personally always wanted a white psp, and i'll buy the slim one, the video output is great!, watching videos on my tv, playing some Megaman Maverick Hunter X on my tv... that's something that i really would like to do.

too thin means easy to drop, and the placement of the headphone jack, I use the Freepulse headphones all the time.. and place the psp infront of me and watch a movie without a stand, with the headphone jack on the bottom.. the psp wouldnt stand up without a stand, seems pointless for the redesign.

plus.. wasnt there supposed to be a camera of some sort?

# The New PSPGuest 2007-07-13 00:34
I think the New PSP is great, like the PSP Model before it. It has some cons, but for me, mostly pros. I have a lot of UMD Movies @ home, and even thoe i have the Plugins for my OE to watch it all on my PC, i really like this new official Version of it. You readers have to understand that MANY People wished for a TV output, even the Big Studios like Warner. What this means to Sony? A small guess:

If the Studios see this new PSP, the MAYBE put new UMD's on the Market and MAYBE Wallmart and co. will return selling UMD Movies. Eventually, at a lower Price.

This one is a 100% made for People who havent allready bought a psp (because of no TV Output?) or the ones who always wished for that Add-On.

I Personally will buy it, keep my old one (3.40 OE) and will use this as a second Device. Why? Because i think its a good Idea and I have the Money :D

Oh, i almost forgot the heaviest part:

No IR... Well... Okay... I kinda liked it with all those HOMEBREW IR Apps, but hey, i got the old one, too :P

And dont forget that the PSP+ shown at the E3 is ONLY A PROTOTYPE! Till it is manufactured it surly will become more sexy as we all love the old one for.

Greetz, Moritz

(im from Germany, so PLEASE BE PATIENT WITH MY ENGLISCH SKILLS!)

P.S.: Please stop this hate talk for this subject. There is just NO Point in it. Post your pros and cons, but dont flame or post ANY Bull*****!

The thing is, they "aren't" thinking of their customers. All they want is the money, and making a more visually "pleasing" PSP in an effort to make people like YOU buy it. And for what purpose? So they can combat homebrew for the casual, uninformed part of the PSP community.

Anyways, the TV - Out thing is sorta cool. But, I'm sure they could've done that on the first PSP, thru the USB port. Or even the serial port for that matter.

..that the signal of the video out on this machine is at best S-VHS (or maybe even composite).

So, in that case, what the heck is the point?

I like my psp as it is. It has balls, figuratively speaking, that is.

Well well. We shouldn't forget that sony knows that most of the people that buys the PSP has not clue on what homebrew and custom firmware is.

Trust me, they'll make a buck or two out of this.

It sure gives them the chance to start shipping ut fw 3.51+, which at least (for the moment) has no secure future for the homebrewers, right?

For the first time, I think $ony has the best card deal.

Let's see what happens when "the flop" comes up.

This makes me really excited, especially now that I just got the money to get my PSP. Seriously my friend told me about this site that pays you to register to free sites and to complete surveys. I was skeptical at first but a quick search on Google showed me that it was actually a legit site and people have been making money from it for some time now. I’ve never had to give out a credit card number and never pay for anything. I’m 16 and I’m making over $100 a month. It’s really easy and only takes a couple minutes out of my day. If you want in register http://www.*****.com/263441

follow the short tutorial to start pulling in cash. The best part is this isn’t one of those “free” sites they mail you a check at the end of each month and you spending on your choosing. Some people will dismiss this as a scam but those who seize the opportunity will be greatly rewarded. It’s your choice.

# New design is good.Guest 2007-07-13 06:38
Let's be reasonable here.

I don't understand why people are complaining about good things?

It's got better battery life.(How? nobody knows for sure but It might be because it has more internal Ram) It's slimmer. It's lighter. It's got more ram. It has freaking Video Out. I remember when third party video out device cost about $100.00 - $200.00.

Let's not compare this to DSLITE. DS phat was ugly before DS lite came along. HOwever, PSP was already beautifully design piece of hardware. it didn't get best innovated & design award in 2004 for nothing. PSP is going right direction with this.

also, Not everybody wants GPS or GO Cam on PSP. It's about having options. I rather use real camera to take pictures.

What I really want is better RSS Feed ( Text, video, audio) It will be great to automatically download NEws feed onto my psp.

a) release a slimmer redesign w/o increasing the cost, or..

b) not release a redesign, and keep pricing the same..

Wouldnt you prefer they release the redesign? Sure, it may not be worth going out and replacing your old one, but its not really supposed to be. Yes, the idea is for this piece of trash to replace Sony error(S) that they have done on the past. Bu t if this is the best they can do then it just shows how incompitant they have become.

If you like this remake then by all means go get a dozen of em'. But just because I gave my 'honest' opinion doesn't mean it applies to "you".

I'm not b!tch!ng, just pissed off that this is the best that Sony have to offer.

And if you even know ANYTHING about HB and all it's glory, then you wouldn't even think of getting this trash. So you obviously are one of them scabs that just uses 'free' homebrews and end of the day have the audasity to b!tch about it cos it did live to 'your' expectations.

My suggestion is, next time you don't like what your reading then either disregard it totally or just STFU! cos no one wan's to hear you give credits to this so called 'new' and better psp hw upgrade. Capish...

f*ck sony guys... go buy a nintendo ds... i have both a psp and a ds and the ds is so much better... the psp has all crappy games except two or three...sony have already lost next gen's console war.. both the handheld and the standar console wars.. the ds is OUTSELLING the psp in all continents and the ps3 is pretty much TOO F*CKING EXPENSIVE for what it provides... Here is a list of what everyone should buy(if they dont have it already):

1.Nintendo Wii

2.Nintendo DS Lite

3.Microsoft Xbox 360

4.Games for the above consoles

5.A Sledge hammer to completely destroy their sony products...

Think people,think.. sony is the crappiest company of all time...sONY ALWAYS takes advantage of their fanboys to sell crappy stuff, worthless ,and very expensive.. the psp is cool,i like it very much but man..where are the games?? games that are very good on psp:

1.Loco Roco

2.Crush

3.Gta

4.Metal Gear Solid.

Games that are tottaly playable on the ds:

1.ZELDA(the greatest game of all time)

2.Mario

3.Metroid

4.Brain Training

5.Warioware

6.Hundreds of great games that worth their price..

Why am i saying al these bullsh1t? Because i want to advice you..and here is my advice:

F*CK SONY.DONT BUY A PS3.DONT BUY A PSP. PRAISE NINTENDO AND MICROSOFT...

Your mins is in the box man.The smarter people dont buy the psp for the psp games. Its the hombrew and hacked content you can run on a psp. Also with the ability to run psx , having ff7 in portability will over power my decision on any ds or nintendo game.Plus DS graphics just suck, and it cant run the movie 300 nor be capable of running mp3s , or half of the hombrew as well as psp.

# Time Out, Sony!!!Guest 2007-07-23 18:03
First and foremost! WHERE THE HELL IS AMERICA'S PSP CAMERA PERIPHERAL!?!

Sony has failed us all when it comes to the new design. I'd rather buy one of those old PSPs with the new colors than the PSP Slim. That damn thing looks like a VTech!

Video-out? Are you kidding me? Just think about this for a second. Plug your PSP into your TV with some short ass cable and watch them on a 16" television screen... Wow! Amazing! Fantastic! Sony is a genuis! [sarcasm]

I'd buy these PSP Slims just to chuck at people. But wait! Don't even think about dropping it on the ground! The thing will crumple like tin foil!!!
