European players will get Echochrome on a UMD like this one - Image 1There appears to be a slight haze of confusion surrounding Sony's Echochrome (PS3, PSP), hence the need for some clarification. While we had already clarified some of the differences between game versions last time, there are more you should be aware of. For example, European players will be getting it on a UMD, as well as additional puzzles for good measure.

How many puzzles, you may ask? Specifically 228 levels -  that's 132 more than the Japanese/Asian version of Echochrome. The European version of the game will reportedly also feature extra game modes as well.

Finally, there is one other way that the European version of Sony's puzzle game differs from its counterparts: according to its product page, Echochrome Europe reportedly needs a minimum of 310 MB for a save file, as compared to the Asian version's 1.4 MB. Most puzzling, indeed.

» Playstation Store

It's going to be a downloadable Playstation Store game. That's how big the game is.

» I'm just glad that...

...I didn't blow the $40 or whatever on the Japanese version. I was so tempted, too!

Hopefully the US version can top this (if it's ever coming out...)
