Capcom Classics Collection Remixed - Image 1

Capcom is showering more love onto Sony's PlayStation consoles. Well, the PS3 and PSP anyway. They've announced that they'll be rolling out more downloadable titles for both PS3 and PSP over the next few months.

First up is Capcom Classics Collection: Remixed, a collection of arcade classics that will be on the PlayStation Store tomorrow for US$ 19.99. This is a PSP-only title and will include games such as Bionic Commando, Captain Commando, the original Street Fighter, and Strider. After that will be another PSP game, Fate/Unlimited Codes. This fighting game from Eighting was one of the first PSP games announced to be going the download-only route.

Finally, the PSN will be seeing an influx of more PSOne Classics and downloadable PSP games. Check out the handy list below to see if there's anything you'll be looking forward to. Note that the PlayStation Legacy games will be playable on both PS3 and PSP while the UMD Legacy titles will only be for PSP.

UMD LEGACY
  • Capcom Classics Collection Remixed
  • Mega Man Powered Up
  • Power Stone Collection
  • Mega Man Maverick Hunter X
  • Darkstalkers
  • Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max

Damn I hated Mega Man Powered Up with a passion. Felt like it was far more suited to the DS with it's overly sickenly 'cute' presentation. Mega Man as it is borderlines on the cuteness for me, Powered Up just went way over that line. Maverick Hunter was ok but it just didn't seem as enjoyable as Mega Man X on the SNES.
