More details on the Metal Gear 20th Anniversary titles |

We've previously reported on the supposed Metal Gear 20th Anniversary titles that Konami will release in Japan. We tagged that report as rumor at the time because details on the titles, and if they are re-releases or remakes or whatever was a bit sparse and most the details was pretty much conjecture.Well, now we are a bit more clear. The official word from Konami is that the 20th Anniversary Editions of the Metal Gear Solid titles (titles from Metal Gear Solid onwards) will be re-releases and will be available on Japanese retail come the 26th of July.
Again, for clarification, the titles and the prices are below:
- Metal Gear 20th Anniversary: Metal Gear Solid 3 (PS2) - 2800 yen, or US$ 23.01
- Metal Gear 20th Anniversary: Metal Gear Solid 2 (PS2) - 1800 yen, or US$ 14.79
- Metal Gear 20th Anniversary: Metal Gear Solid (PS) - 1500 yen, or US$ 12.00
- Metal Gear 20th Anniversary: Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops (PSP) - 2800 yen, or US$ 23.01
There is still no word however if the re-releases will have special packaging. The titles do hint at that heavily though. Also, there is no confirmation if the 20th Anniversary Editions will be released in other shores.

Not a half bad deal... £30 for all of the Metal Gear Solid games, anyone?
I already have the games, just give me those toys!
I'd buy it if they actually remade the games, like having something like MGS: The Twin Snakes but for Playstation.
if it had like a document of... thing for the games like mgs2 did
MGS 1, 2, 3 and PO for $56??? F_ck yeah! I wonder if 3 will be snake eater or subsistance?
I sure do hope this does get released here in the states cuz my birthday is in July and I would definitely enjoy this, especially for $56.71!
Now all we need is the *****tards at Konami to turn the MGS3 online servers back on.
