Confirmed - Darth Vader is a playable character in Star Wars: Force Unleashed - Image 1A few days ago, we reported that Lucas Arts will be holding a very special announcement regarding Star Wars: The Force Unleashed for the PSP, PS2, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, DS. Today, they just gave more details on the degree of playability of the lethal villain known as Darth Vader.

Now that you guys know that you can fully utilize the Sith Lord's power to bring forth chaos and destruction, better take note of the catch. What is it? Well, since Vader is just too powerful, he can only be played for the first level of the game. After which, the story will be handed to the secret apprentice for the whole duration of the game.

Well, it's still great news for us. Imagine this, you can do everything that you've been wanting to with all the Jedi powers that Darth Vader has. We'll keep you guys posted for more updates on the game, so do stick around.

» The Force Is Too Strong With Vader

Maybe later they could make a spin off sequel where you can be Vader for the whole game and he has to go to different alien planets and fight some killer alien bosses to extract their planet's natural resources in order to build up his huge empire. I think that would be a fun kick ass game!

If I remember right, PS3 gets Darth Vader while the X360 gets Yoda.

Now who's cooler, Darth Vader or Yoda?

At least for me, it's DV.

btw: I could be just a coincidence, but the colors match, you know,

PS3=black & DV=black

X360=green & Yoda=green....

That's the Soul Calibur 4, and I bet you can unlock both characters in both consoles.
