MonsterhunterP_logo_1109Before those of us in the United States and Europe even get a chance to play the ever popular Japanese title Monster Hunter Portable on the PSP, news has already been announced for a follow up sequel to this blockbuster game. Already selling over 400,000 UMD copies in Japan since it?s debut in December, Capcom?s Monster Hunter will likely be coming to next-gen consoles at some point in the future, according to series producer Tsuyoshi Tanaka - but not before the next incarnation comes to the PSP. Until then, the rest of us westerners will have to settle for when the original Monster Hunter Portable comes to the states this spring in the form of Monster Hunter Freedom .

This could be the game to make me update to 2.0+.

I never played the first monster hunter, but I have a feeling I would have liked it anyways. It was said it's kinda like PSO, and I played PSO online for 1 1/2 years.

Woot for psp, WHEN WILL THEY MAKE A PSP MMORPG? God the DS would get one first.

Oh sure, it's as cool as PSO was. But as good? Nah.

IT BLOWS IT AWAY! I'll admit that the difficulty curve is STEEP. You can't just sit around and grind on the little Apceroses, if the big, bad Yian Kut Ku is fireballing you to a crisp. Nono, you have to train hard and learn the ins and outs of the target wyvern before you can take it down. So, without further ado... PLEASE LET MHF2 COME OUT SOON!

Gunlance gunlance gunlance... *rocks back and forth, foaming a little from her mouth*
