Monster Hunter Portable 2nd - Image 1

Yep, Monster Hunter Portable 2nd finally hit the shelves in Japan and... promptly disappeared. Not much of a surprise - it's Capcom's sequel to the popular series, after all.

In an earlier article, we reported on the event that was the Monster Hunter release - not as big as The Burning Crusade but heck, this is Japan we're talking about. The PSP fanboy site reports that Monster Hunter Portable 2nd has sold 500,000 units on the first day. This would probably be enough of a hint for Capcom - though not enough of an assurance that it'd be headed Stateside.

We'll be on the look out for more info regarding this, whether Capcom will take 500,000 as a number to signal a North American release. Stay tuned.

Hey Tical... You won't be dissapointed with the 2nd part. The very first thing I noticed when I first played the game was how fast your character responds to the commands and how much capcom improved the battle speed. Graphics are excellent and music is also great. It has a surround option that makes the music sound great!!

I'm glad that you found happiness in some form, even if it's pathetic to 99% of us.

I haven't even played the first, I better give this a try. Go Capcom! Go PSP!

If Satan is right , I'll just like this even more!

By the way , does this have infrastructure support or is it ad hoc only?
