Good news to all you Monster Hunters out there - Capcom Unity has just announced that The Encyclopedia Gigantica site is now live, bringing you practically everything you need to know about the world of Monster Hunter Freedom Unite.

Okay, so the Encyclopedia Gigantica isn't very gigantic in terms of content just yet, but Capcom's gonna fill that up eventually. The Encyclopedia Gigantica includes a Beginner's Guide section for the newbie Monster Hunters, plus an archive of weapons, armors, and of course, the beasts that you'll be hunting.

There's also a list of available quests for Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, a section for vids, and online communities for you and your fellow Monster Hunters. The lists are nowhere near complete yet, but don't sweat it, the game won't be released until June 26th, so Capcom still has a lot of time to fill those lists up, at least to some extent when the game becomes available.

In the meantime, here's a few from our own Encyclopedia...of sorts:

another overhyped and over-created marketing ploy on the western market. i'm telling you, they're just wasting money on these ads. so many mhfu ads. yet they released this game very late. they could've just diverted these money in developing more games or better yet a much easy one would be to translated them since there are awesome games lining up there in japan that needs western english translation.

again, ads should just let people know the game exist and it rocks. or send out some awesome reviews. games like monster hunter are underrated because not that many people knew about it. well, except japan of course. heck they even have monster hunter frontier there, in which i kinda envy them. it needs to get out so we can play. besides, they're in it for the money anyway - the late western release of monster hunter portable 2nd g to monster hunter freedom unite. they've seen that it sells really well so they decided to get a western release? lol why not do it earlier. again, it's all about money. it's freakin' lame when we get the leftovers. i don't mind getting them as long as it's months away and not year/s or ages.

here's a good thing to invest money for especially those rpg fanatics is to learn how to read and understand the japanese language. lol.

Rediculous rant is redicuolus. That said, Im sorry capcom chose to import and market this game instead of whatever game it was you were hoping for. I know how disappointing it is when that happens, but I think we should just be happy about the fact that there will be another good PSP game for us to enjoy.
