It looks like Namco Bandai has opted not to bring the giant robot action of Mobile Suit Gundam: Gundam vs Gundam Next to the PS3 after all. They've chosen instead to stick to what works and have announced that a PSP port is coming.

The PSP port -- titled Mobile Suit Gundam: Gundam vs Gundam Next Plus -- will feature a new Mission Mode and the addition of Reborns Gundam, Wing Gundam ZERO and Gundam Nataku. It's set for release in Japan this December.

Yeah baby!

Damn, the Gundam games are some of the best on the PSP, and even though I'd like to see it on PS3, this is on my shopping list along with Macross Ultimate Frontier.

Just one more reason why the Go makes no sense - can't play this on one of those can you? ^^
