Midway has confirmed the departure of three top execs in recent weeks. Mike Bilder, Mona Hamilton, and Reilly Brennan have all left the Chicago-based company's mantle.

Bilder was Midway's head for its Chicago studio and he was responsible for overseeing such franchises as Mortal Kombat, Stranglehold, and Bltz: The League. Hamilton is the firm's vice-president for marketing while Brennan was the former director of media relations.

Midway has reportedly lost US$ 34.8 million dollars in the first quarter alone of the current fiscal year. It's one of the few publishers who did not benefit from an otherwise strong season for the industry.

There have also been rumors of other high-profile personnel leaving the company, but Midway has refused to confirm their identities. the company said it's currently looking into who can fill in the spots vacated by the three former bosses.

» Maybe

Maybe if they did another real Mortal Kombat game then they would make some money. They should even create some great Playstation Network downloadable games.
