Metal Slug Anthology's release for the Wii had nearly everyone's heads spinning as the confusion just wouldn't stop. Now the PSP version is bound to suffer the same fate. After the nth delay (the last release date was February 6), it now looks like SNK has pushed back the release to March 1. Again.Metal Slug Anthology will include the original Metal Slug up to Metal Slug 6 with Metal Slug X. Who says you can't have too much of a good thing? This game brings back memories of a thousand quarters.
The question remains: how long do we have to wait for our Flameshots and Heavy Machine Guns on the PSP?

SNK had better not be *****ing around with all of these delays. If MSA is not arcade-perfect, they're going to have one very angry Metal Slug fanatic on their hands.
i prefer good ol neogeo emu
they can delay it once again if the want .. but then it better be PERFECT! the neogeo emu has this game working almost flawless (the first two that is) and i want AT LEAST that quality for the other 4 ;-)
Will I be able to play ps2 games on my psp with this metal slog softeware?
I can't wait and it is specificly programmed for psp emulation can't be better, hope this will be released before summer

There were rumors that this will not include metal slug 6. if it doesn't one of my fav companies is not getting my 30+ bucks seriously.. I have 1-6 +3D either on pc, gba, neogeo, psp, ps2 some are back ups, but i have real copies of all the games though, 2 are imports (thanks link-sang ;) but if there's no metal slug 6, there's really no point. I don't want play the games on stupid ad-hoc.... wth...
Atari owns the European distribution rights to the PSP version, and their target release is Feb 7th. People who want it before it ever hits US shelves are going to get it.
im starting to lose interest in this game. Its just like any other arcade classics game. One person could create this game in a week and no one would know the difference. Whats the *****ing deal. I waited to the point that i just dont care anymore. Will i buy it, maybe, if it had come out when the announced it the first three times it would have been a sure thing.
I think thats the problem of the PSP, they make games but they release the game like 4 months after, they need to do it like a normal console, they are just taking the time and thats affecthing the PSP.

MS3 was the best one, 4 5 6 are husks of what the series used to be
