Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. today announced that Metal Gear Acid 2 for PSP has shipped to stores everywhere. The game continues the best-selling strategic card-based series with an all-new visual style, more unique cards for players to use and original play modes that let players engage in a variety of classic Metal Gear gameplay scenarios.
Metal Gear Acid 2 also includes an innovative “Solid Eye” peripheral that allows users to experience the entire game and special bonus content in full 3D for the most immersive gameplay experience ever offered on the PSP system. Retailing for $39.99, the game also comes bundled with the Solid Eye peripheral.

I doubt it will be able to run on 1.5, Sony is going to wise up against the 2.0 loaders, and make msot new games 2.5+. Can anyone confirm what firmware this requires?
Will this continue from Metal Gear Ac!d? As I haven't even finished that yet. I have an urge to now though, must be the excitement of this coming out.

i've picked up a u.s. version of it and got me a cheap little animation cell (which were suppozed to be fer reserves only) and yes it does require 2.6~!!!!!!!!!!!!!! runUMD does not work for it. man... i waz really hoping for it to work, oh well, i guess i just gotta wait for a umd loader or sumthin b4 i can play it........ =T

it works on 1.5, you just need to change the prx files and use umd emulator and mph gameloader
I heard that the u.s. "solid eye" is made of cardboard...anyone pick it up yet? whats it made of??
i managed to rip the thing into a one gig and used the pirated one floatin out there for the PRX files and rebuilt it for mph's loader (thanks for all the hard work MPH~!!!!) great game so far and YES the solid eye is made of cardboard with plastic lenses, but itz a nice effect, you wont be dissapointed.

The solid eye, the thing that shined on advertisement pictures, is made of Cardboard?!?!?!?! CARDBOARD?!?!?!?! Still I can't wait to get it.
