If you happened to be one of the unfortunate souls who bought the “Stony PSP,” then you have no chance of running homebrew. According to Kotaku, the Stony PSP has 2 million pixels, can play MP3/WMA files, and is equipped with 256MB memory and an SD card slot. They called the Stony PSP more of a media player than a console although it comes with 30 games (titles not available). It may look, feel, play kinda like Sony PSP but what a difference a "t" makes, much like the Sorny I saw on the streets the other day. By now I'm sure everyone is a fakeologist, but for those who are first-times, dont buy the Stony or Sorny. Stick with the Sony 2.00 and lower. Many more games than 30 with those, and you you will actually have fun.

I highly doubt that thing has 2 million pixels... That's about 700,000 more pixels than my computer screen running at 1280 by 1024. If the stony had that kind of resolution I would buy it in a second.

SD cards are much cheaper than memory stick duos (4GB SD cards can be bought for about $100 on ebay). If that thing costs less than $125, then that things mine.

How do you know you can't run homebrew on it, you maybe able to hack the thing, it has an SD card, I think someone should try to hack this thing, it's pretty cool.

This isn't a mock-up or a photoshop. It's an article about a counterfeit device feigning as the psp, much like the article posted a week or so ago. If this were a parody, the person who wrote this wouldn't have made so many spelling and grammatical errors, not to mention the poor paragraph, sentence structuring and the lack of quoting and/or sourcing. Staff of QJ.net better evaluate this author if they want to maintain their semi high end techno-blog status.

The Stony whatever-it-is is real: it exists even if the one in the pictures is the only one. It is not on Ebay because Ebay does not permit counterfeit items. While some fake items do make it out the ones that have blatantly outrageous flaws in the design make it so obvious that it is a counterfeit. These are caught--be it by an auction moderator or a visitor and are deleted. This is why you do not see it on sale in Ebay. Same goes for the States, aside from some asian and other ethnic markets that don't bother reporting the counterfeits. According to you, I do not exist because you cannot see me in person, or on some other "legitimate" website such as ebay. Rethink your philosophy.
