More from Media Create as the research group releases its software sales report for the week ending on the 24th of November. The new releases show strong starts as Animal Crossing: City Folk, Chrono Trigger DS, and Mobile Suit: Gundam vs. Gundam fill up the top three, with a distant margin from the rest of the pack.

Selling an an estimated 305,000 units, Nintendo's Animal Crossing secures the top spot. Square Enix's Chrono Trigger DS comes in at second with 270,000, while Namco Bandai's Gundam vs. Gundam sold 267,000 to rank at number three. Here's the rest of the list:

4. The Last Remnant by Namco Bandai: 101,000 (new release)
5.  Saka DS: Touch and Go by Sega: 72,000 (new release)
6. Hoshi no Kirby: Ultra Super Deluxe by Nintendo: 55,000; total 418,000
7. Wagamama Fashion Girls Mode by Nintendo: 25,000; total 209,000
8. Rhythm Tengoku Gold by Nintendo 25,000; total 1,184,000
9. Pokemon Platinum: 24,000; total 1,941,000
10. Way of the Samurai by Spike: 20,000; total 100,000

With five of the top being new releases, we can expect them to remain at the top in days to come. Much hype has surrounded the release of those titles, so there's definitely a lot of demand for them.

Figures are a bit different, but still consistent with this article:

Chrono Trigger sold 270,000, not 217,000. So it stands as second, with Gundam's 267,000 at third.

It's a typo, I'll fix that up.
