Mario Kart Wii took the top spot by bringing in about 107,000 sales for the week, while Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G contributed with some 82,000 units sold at second place. It was interesting to note that aside from Capcom's monster hunting action title, Nintendo was able to dominate all the other slots in the top ten software list.
Anyway, these are the top ten titles in Japan based on the sales report from Media Create:
- Mario Kart Wii (Wii) - 106,780
- Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G (PSP) - 82,466
- Wii Fit (Wii) - 52,744
- Link's Crossbow Training (Wii) - 48,808
- Meccha! Taiko Drum Master DS! Adventure of 7 Islands (DS) - 34,474
- Pokemon Ranger Batonage! (DS) - 27,035
- Deca Sporta (Wii) - 21,986
- Wii Sports (Wii) - 20,586
- We're Fossil Diggers (DS) - 17,338
- Super Smash Bros Brawl (Wii) - 16,403
