Marvel vs. Capcom 2 coming to PSN and XBL in late July |

Capcom has finally dated the much awaited XBLA and PSN outing of Marvel vs. Capcom 2. Earlier reports speculated that the release date of the game will be on June 29 as projected in Marvel Entertainment's Q1 2009 financial report but Capcom has clarified the rumor and pinned down the release date in late July.
Via their Twitter account, they confirmed:
MvC2 is not actually coming out on June 29, sorry guys. Not sure where that rumor came from, but it's going to be closer to the end of July.
Well, it looks like we're gonna wait one more month to enjoy one of the best beat em up games of all time.

Cause you know...Capcom has no idea what they're talking about and Gamespot is all knowing and credible...
spam tagging is the easiesy way 2 set those buttom jammers up 4 a combo/air combo/ infinity air combo which i can not do yet.......it can b the deadly dumb move 2 do against experience players......i'm more annoy of the Sentinel, Cable, n Mephisto doing super jump spaming demons wid heavy kick n the other 2 constantly power lock u in the corner

Why not go practice?
If you do not have a PS2 version/DC version, you can go get nullDC(either Dreamcast or NAOMI).
I play it all the time while waiting for the HD version.
You get lower frames due to emulation, but it works.

I thought the game sprites looked pretty awful, I wish they'd updated those as well as the backgrounds. Surely not beyond Capcom?
I'm going to be short with money the next few weeks anyway, so this is perfect me. :)

For starters, it's more of a fan game than it is a fighting game. Second, It's a flashy game, people do flashy moves, but other than that, it's nothing special, nowhere near Tekken/Soul Caliber nor Street Fighter. Heck probably not even Mortal Kombat. And last, though the game takes a certain amount of skill, it's still not considered one of the best fighting games, it's good, it attracts a certain crowd, but it can't be compared to actual fighters.
I noticed that too. Compared to the Street Figther HD Remix this game wasn't amp'd up at all. I was expecting much more crisp sprites and the backgrounds could've definitely been upped in graphics. I guess this "trying to keep it retro" they talked about is probably a quick way to save a few dollars and time. Though overall, I know it'll still be an amazing PSN/XBL game.
