A Marks and Spencer store - Image 1In the mood for post-holiday video game shopping? You may want to check out the goods at Marks & Spencer in the near future, as the retailer has reportedly been considering increasing the amount of space that it normally allots to video games this year.

According to a Marks & Spencer spokesperson, an expansion of its game offering seemed like the obvious next step after the retailer's earlier move toward offering technology and electrical products: "With our move into technology and success in electrical business the gaming market was an obvious addition to our range.”

Of course, it will still depend on the results of the Marks & Spencer's internal review of the sector. Marks & Spencer currently sells video games and consoles via its gold technology stores and its online store.

Eh...

Video games are ment for video game stores such as Gamestop or EB Games. Honestly, how often to regular stores have good games at good prices?

re:

Good question.

Still, it's understandable why Marks and Spencer would want to branch out to a lucrative product such as video games.
