Major League Baseball 2K8 - Image 1A lot of sports fans have been talking about 2K Sports' Major League Baseball 2K8 (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, DS, PlayStation Portable, and PS2). No one can blame them, really, since the videos of the game have certainly shown a lot of promise.

If you've been keeping tabs on this game you might be interested in knowing a few of the new features the developers have put into it.

Gamers who demand complete control over their characters will be please to know that the game will have total pitch control and Swing Stick 2.0. Baserunning has also been simplified in the game, making it easier for players to direct their characters to specified bases.

In addition to the aforementioned features, Major League Baseball 2K8 will also contain 90 minor league teams as well as 18 minor league stadiums. The commentary in the game will once again be handled by Jon Miller and Hall of Famer Joe Morgan.

While the features may vary depending on the console or handheld version, we can't deny that the game is looking better and better. We'll have to see if Major League Baseball 2K8 lives up to all the hype.
