Mainichi Issho gets Remote Play connectivity and in-game shopping |

It's a Japan-only title that's more of an interactive experience rather than a game, but we have to admit that the bloody cat is cute as heck. It's called Mainichi Issho (or Together Everyday, if you like), and it's the first game to actually use remote play for the purpose of playing.
In this case, you can actually interact with Toro-kun the cat through your PlayStation Portable, so long as remote play is activated on the PSP and you have a working internet access point. Unfortunately, since the technology is rather new, the functions are rather limited. Mainichi Issho only allows you to "play" in the sense of trying out different options for Toro-kun to do and seeing him perform them on your PSP. Lag is also less of an issue in this case since you're only picking options rather than actually directing a character manually.
According to IGN, Mainichi Issho will also get one additional feature that is so far unique to the game: in-game shopping. A special version of the PlayStation Store will show up directly in-game, allowing you to purchase in-game items for you to populate Toro-Kun's house with through microtransactions. Not bad for mini-games, and certainly looking good for the future of remote play as well.
