Madden NFL 10 release date announced |

Details about Electronic Arts' Madden NFL 10 are still scarce, but at least EA has already announced one of the most important pieces of info: the game's release date. The long-running NFL videogame series is being primed for an August 14 launch. That's a Friday, so that should give fans a lot of game time over the weekend. The game's cover athlete will also be announced on April 24.
No particular consoles were mention along with the announcement, so I'm taking this to mean a simultaneous multiplatform release. Madden NFL 10 will appear on the Sony PS2, Sony PS3, Sony PSP, Microsoft Xbox 360, and Nintendo Wii.

That sounds terrible. Should just call it Madden 2010.
EA makes the worst sports games ever. Madden used to be good a long time ago but now its like they use the same game and just give it a small face lift and wham they put it out. 2k sports games are better. I guess its like ignorant people who think ipods are the best but they dont know that alot better mp3 players are out their but they dont know about it.
Madden is released every year around the same time, the beginning of August some time.
It'll be called Madden NFL '10
as in the previous ones being Madden NFL '95, '99, etc...
Madden 2010 (twenty-ten) sounds way better than Madden 10, idk what they were thinking
To Serosis, I think he knows it's called Madden 10, hence his statement "that sounds terrible". Most people want it CHANGED to Madden 2010...
BTW those ones were called 99, 05, 08 etc because the full date sounds gay. Who wants to say Madden two thousand eight? Or nineteen ninety nine? But in this case the abbreviated date sounds dumb, and the full date sounds better
