If you happen to be in London, Scotland or Paris around October and want to start working in the gaming industry, then you might want to pay attention as Lucas Arts is currently looking for talented people to help them make more great games, and judging from the list of people that they are looking for, particularly the PS3 Expert Engineer, this gives a hint that this great company may be finally planning to further make their presence known by making games for the next-gen consoles as well. So, will we be seeing sequels of their previous Star Wars games? Will the old games like SWKotOR get ported or enhanced. I guess we'll find out once they start hiring.

At the moment, they are looking to fill the following positions in all three locations: Lucas Arts
  • Lead Artist
  • Lead Environment Artist
  • Lead Character Artist
  • Senior Concept Artist
  • Senior Designer
  • Designer
  • Character TDs
  • Art TDs
  • PS3 Expert Engineer
  • Games Developers
  • Lead Architect
  • Physics Programmers
  • Tools Engineers
  • UI/VFX Engineers
  • Engine Core Engineers
  • Gameplay Engineers
So, if you think you've got what it takes to join their team, then just start submitting your resume and gear up for that interview. And just to refresh your memory on who you'll be working for, Lucas Arts are the creators of the highly-popular Star Wars RPG for the Xbox and the PC, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and its sequel SWKotOR II: The Sith Lords, and not to mention the MMORPG Star Wars Galaxies.

And if any of you do make it in Lucas Arts, do keep us posted on how it goes and remember to share any insider news you've got for the world to know!
