LocoRoco Christmas demo is out |
Yup, we have enticed you a lot about LocoRoco's Christmas demo. We have given you its soundtrack and right now is a good time for us to give you the demo itself, the Japanese version of the demo that is. Most likely, the US and European PlayStation sites will be placing their demos soon, so we'll keep you updated for that.
Christmas just became merrier for some and warmer for others, but hold your horses, and read this first. The Christmas demo requires Firmware 3.02, but fret not 1.5 loyalists, it was reported that FW 3.02 works in Devhook too, remember? So if there's someone out there who could tell us that the demo does work on Devhook, that'll be really awesome.
To install the game, you need to place the EBOOT.PBP in PSP\GAME\NPJG90001. Again, we'll update you when the US and European demos come out, but for now, your early Christmas gift is ready for download below.

Ive been waiting for this for a while, It feels like christmas (Sony Release More Demos!!)
Come on Sony, give us other demos! I've tried all 3 of them and it didn't convinced me to buy the game. This one wont do it either!

I hex-edited it for 2.80 and it works fine.
I like the styling, although the winter style was kinda annoying because I'm in the southern hemisphere. Oh well.

Its so simple... just download a hex editing program install it and open the ebot and change the numbers to 2.80 ull quickly find the numbers u need to change...

This game is so borin, it's not fun for me to chuck a blob fingy around the screen, it get's irritating, i got a headache from this game

I back that up as I've tested it on 3.02 devhook. So, it's confirmed! This demo is sweet. ^_^
I may aswell put 3.02 to some use. But 1.5 rules.

I want to know if Metal Gear portable ops will work on 2.71 SE-C. It seems like the only PSP game that was actually designed for the PSP.
if you hex edit it to say 2.80 instead of 3.02 it WILL WORK, iv done this myself and it works fine.

my psp just turns off why? im using se-c DH 051 w/3.02 and putting it in ms0:PSP/GAME/UCJS10041/ can anyone help please?
It isn't. Mention games like Killzone Liberation and of course Loco Roco!
If you can edit a demo to play on earlier firmwares why can't you edit a 1.5 update eboot to play on a 3.x or others?

thanks a lot m8 - the game works flawlessly - just put the extracted folder "UCED90007" in ms0:PSP/GAME + run it.
btw: this game has to be used with devhook fw 3.02 to work (or u can try Hex Editing it)
