Level 5 open to making another Dark Cloud |

While busying themselves with White Knight Chronicles back at TGS, Level 5 Games didn't turn away from the subject of one of their most well-loved classics, Dark Cloud. Those who've been waiting for a new follow-up will be happy to know that this is one dark cloud with a plenty of silver lining - if more people ask for it, then Level-5 will seriously consider bringing it back.
With the developers having their hands tied down to White Knight Chronicles for now, Level 5 still can't move on to Dark Cloud just yet. "At this moment we don't have a specific plan for a sequel in the Dark Cloud series," said Level 5's Yoshiaki Kusuda.
Hold on, it ain't over yet. "There are many staff members, including myself at Level 5, who have worked on the Dark Cloud series," he said, adding that some newcomers also joined the team because they loved the game. "There are some who decided to join Level 5 because they love the Dark Cloud series. So, if requests from users should increase in the future, we would seriously consider making it."

They really should make another one. That game was very unique. Seriously I didn't know that building houses to change the future could be so much fun even though the whole game is very repetitive. Weapon customization was amazing in both games and even more so in the 2nd. Hope they do make Dark Cloud 3.

my wife still plays the first to.
In other words if we beg they'll make another game.... another one of those pedophile Professor Layton game that is.
I say that if Level 5 makes another Dark Cloud, they should put the amount of work that they put into Rogue Galaxy. Rogue Galaxy is an amazing game, where as the Dark Cloud games were unique on the town creation systems, but all around not too great.
