Star Wars Battlefront: Renegade Squadron Lead Designer Star Wars Battlefront: Renegade Squadron">Mike Rosser recently blogged about the latest improvements being done by their studio Rebellion Developments to the upcoming title. First, he wanted every fan to know that they've been "doing tons of multiplayer testing over the past few weeks," and it has been nothing but a blast.

But for this week, Rosser is mostly excited about the new equipments and weapons being introduced to Renegade Squadron. The producer noted that there's no "killer" equipment configuration available so players can expect a level playing field once they get into the multiplayer mode.

In relation to the testings being done at their very own studio, Rosser mentioned that it's "pretty cool to see players adapting their customization load-outs in response to other players' choices". Then he added,

My personal favorite tactic is to freeze someone, then tag them with an Orbital Strike beacon - the victim can see the strike building up, but is powerless to evade it. It's a bit tricky to pull off, so it's not the most efficient tactic, but it sure is satisfying!

Star Wars Battlefront: Renegade Squadron will be released this October. In the meantime, have a feast with these weapons design arts provided by Mike Rosser himself.
