LOL you think Final Fantasy X11 outsold Gears of War ? LOL, FF11 it was ousted out in its second week by Ghost Recon and Ghost is going to have to sell around another 3 Million to even get anywhere near the sale of Gears..
afetr reading this comment and being an owner of both games i thought id look it up and i was actually surprised. Gears of war has only sold 4 million world wide while FF12 has sold 4.9 million goto vgcharts.org
ahh well i dont realley care what outsells what Gears is a good game, FFXII is a good game they all good ^^

Why is this even on the PS3 site when the PS3 isn't out in th UK?
Yes it has sold more but you are talking about a Last gen $99 console game that has been out for years v the next gen 360 you cant compare it as there are still far to many PS2s for the next gen machines to outsell BUT Gears has come close sooner rather than later to achieving that aim..
I love Sonic and the Secret Rings, and I believe it definitely deserves to be one of the top selling games in the UK, but I'm surprised enough people agree with me that it's actually the case.
Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2? Really? Not saying it's a bad game (I never played it, and though I didn't really like the first one, I know that puts me with the minority), but after it's been out for so long, for it to be in the top 10 is a real shock to me.
As for why this list was posted in the PS3 and PSP sections, put it this way: QJ, like all news outlets, wants to get stories out as fast as possible. Do you think, when they get info like this, they're going to scroll through the list and note which consoles are represented? Of course not; it's a broad topic, so they post it everywhere.
Another possible reason is that people checking the PSP and PS3 sections still might be interested in the trends.
i compeltely agree but im just fixing the other person fanboy comment. I do consider the GEOW to be a big success although i believe its the most overrated game of all time... The real 360 games have yet to come i just dont thinmk geow was that great

I can understand posting it everywhere even if none of the games are from a certain console, but what bugged me was the fact that they posted it on the PS3 site when the PS3 hasn't even been released yet. That just doesn't make any sense.
