Remember that Wall Street Journal report that labelled Ken Kutaragi as Sony's "stumbling block"? Newsweek has also come out with a similar piece on the embattled godfather of the Sony PlayStation.Kutaragi has recently been transferred to the role of Chairman at Sony Computer Entertainment, making him more involved in game development. Kaz Hirai now acts in the role of president. According to Play.tm, the Newsweek report alleges that "the former SCE president was shuffled because of a lack of communication with Sony CEO Sir Howard Stringer."
The lack of communication reportedly led to the string of problems alluded to in the Wall Street Journal article. Stringer was also reportedly unhappy about Kutaragi's advice to cut the PS3's price in Japan, something which, according to Play.tm, "the Sony boss believes could have been a subsequently poor decision."
Stringer allegedly attempted to fix the lack of communication between him and Kutaragi, telling Newsweek that "I've had dinner with [Kutaragi] more times than I've had dinner with my wife, and that's not really healthy."

because of all these shinanigens with Kutaragi,
that GTA IV and Assassin's Creed was cancelled
for the PS3!!!
This means we have to go Xbox to play AC!

I dont think sony is losing exclusives because
of developement problems. I think they have
lost focus and game developers know it.
Sony is trying way too hard to get this console
into the living room instead of going for what got them to#1 gaming!!!!

kutaragi is a dumb *****...no matter if he invented the ps1...we are in the 3rd gen..things change...and this man is not.
