Konami's Games Convention 2008 lineup: Kojima, Igarashi, playable demos, more |
Ó

Konami's pulling out all the stops for their appearance at this year's Games Convention at Leipzig. The company's bringing along a handful of new titles to the event, some of which will be available as actual playable demos.
Leading developers such as Hideo Kojima and Koji Igarashi will also be on hand to deliver presentations and sign autographs. Nine new products will also be announced along with "an exciting new PlayStation 3 title". Maybe this is the mystery project Konami's developing with Mercury Steam.
Here's a list of the games Konami will be showcasing at Leipzig. Playable demos for the first eight titles will be available. Games Convention 2008 starts tomorrow.

Looks like Konami is abandoning the PSP as well. Only the lamentable Hellboy hits the system, and all the other multi-platform stuff goes AWOL.
Why can't we have a western version of Parodius or Twinbee on budget release to tide us over? *Sulk*
